You got me. Clearly I wouldnt know that living out of state or anything. Obviously I was telling the locals how good they have it. But you got me. -

Geez. You spoiled brats. Who gives a damn about the commercials? You get to see the game for free! Perspective, people. I dont hate John Keating like most people. Oh, and if I ever see the Good Mood Food guy in public, he's getting an elbow to the teeth. -
As far as the Packers fans who live in Wisconsin and Lions fans who live in Michigan and Northwest Ohio, there really isn't much hatred there. But we all know those people who are Packers fans just because they like John Deere or Brett Favre or whatever. As it happens, one of my least favorite people who was a roommate of mine is a Packers fan. Last year during the Super Bowl, I was conflicted. I HATE the Steelers and their fans so I was kind of ok with Green Bay winning, but I did not want my acquaintance to have the undeserved feeling of accomplishment that comes with winning the Super Bowl.

Delmas, Houston, Suh, and Fairley will all be back who didn't play in the first game in New Orleans. Gotta hope the defense can turn the ball over a few times. Brees is a very accurate passer, but there are opportunities to pick him off. The offense can't afford to take whole quarters off either. My gut says we're in tough and that our rise to prominence will have to continue next season, but it's not like New Orleans is undefeated and we've all seen the Lions pull a few miracles out of a hat this season. -

You're right it doesnt. But did you notice I wrote that at halftime when every other Lions fan in the world felt the same way. -
I'm picking the Saints to win the Super Bowl as of now. Their offense is just on fire and the only offense that I think has a chance to outscore Green Bay (since neither team has a D that sets the world on fire). It's too bad my Lions have to play them in the first round.

The point is we should never have to use 3 challenges in one half. It's like the refs threw their hands up and said, "well we don't really know what happened so Green Bay ball". The pass interference call was bad, but it wasn't a scoring play or a turnover. Clearly there is a difference. I wouldn't expect you to see it as I do. -

Yeah, its just really shocking that these calls kept going the Packers way. Shouldnt have needed to review the Scheffler play, amazingly they called Logan's return a fumble and couldn't overturn becuase they didnt have view and then as if by magic the ref cannot see a player get two feet down AND WE CAN'T REVIEW IT BECAUSE WE HAD TO WASTE 2 CHALLENGES. I was shocked they didnt say Calvin didnt complete the process of the catch on his first td. But in the second half the reason we lost was because of our secondary. They should be embarassed of themselves. Brees is gonna roast us. And dont compare a pass interference with blown calls that directly took points off the board and switched possession. -

how much are green bay paying these refs? This is ridiculous. -

Geez, you're probably too young to remember the kinda good times of the mid 90s. Born in 85, I got to consciously see most of Barry's career. Looks like Delmas is out again Saturday, meaning the special teamer Weddling (?) or the rookie are in. Yeesh. Thankfully Patrick Rivers is having his worst year so far, although the Chargers have turned it on. -

If true, at least Suh doesn't look like he's just stomped on someone because he didn't like his face. Though I do like that mentality in a DL, he's got to keep it during the course of play or he's just going to hurt his team when he's sitting at home watching the games. -

I'm so glad my internet stream went out at the end of the 3rd quarter. I likely would have had a stroke watching the end of that game live. -
At least Lesean McCoy is having a good fantasy year. And I enjoy seeing any NFC East team fail, since we're supposed to care about them for some reason according to ESPN.

This is pretty much exactly what everyone thought would happen. I love his fire and tenacity, but he's gotta learn to keep it between the whistles. As for the game Thursday? Let's not talk about that. We better get this thing righted soon, or it's no playoffs and a poor draft spot for the Lions. -

What a ridiculous crock of s***. Asking the crowd for quiet? This isn't golf. If I remember correctly, that was the game that Reggie Brown was paralyzed. -

I'm not worried about beating the Packers for the division. It's their division title. I want to beat them just to beat them. To get back that swagger and confidence that has been lost. -

Which Stafford is the real Stafford? Because the first 4 drives he was awful, but after that he was magnificent. Glad we found a running game in our former bust, Kevin Smith. Still gotta be a lot better but we desperately needed that win. -

I like when we win. We should do that more often. It also helps when Pavel's putting the puck in the net. -

The Lions lack of a running game goes back to Leshoure going out for the season in camp. He's a 235 lb back who was supposed to get us the tough yards this season. Best isn't a between the tackles runner and I'm a little disappointed they didn't go out and get someone who could fill in and get a few tough yards. Hopefully this is remedied either through Leshoure's return next season or the draft. -

I'm just going to chalk this one up as "the bad game" of the year and move on. If I sit and think about all that went wrong today I'll become physically ill. -

2008 Lions? Is that you? -
The Patriots poor drafting is really starting to catch up with them. It was always kind of believed that you put on a Patriots jersey and step into the Belichick system and suddenly you're going to be a better player, much like the Red Wings do. However, their defense is atrocious, due in part to Haynesworth's lazy ass and completely depleted back 7. I think we've seen the end of the Patriots era and the only reason why they're still going to be a good team and a possible playoff team is because they still have Tom Brady. I also think it's entirely possible that if Brady gets hurt instead of Manning, we could be seeing a similar embarassment of a season in New England.
