I dont know who to root for. I have absolutely nothing against Canada, again, but I just cant seem to bring myself to root for them in these Olympics. And Russia is Russia. I like their players, but it was always fun to root against the Russians. Either way, winner to the gold medal. Spare me the "anything can happen" speech. I know. We all know.

I suppose this is true. But it also doesn't happen very often where a goal isnt clear and play isnt at least stopped at the same time. I just know I'd be pissed if I'd scored a goal then basically it's ruled that it never happened. Time for an insurance goal boys!

That's what I thought. Then why not just stop play when there's any question? And yes, the site is being a little slow. Only usually happens during Wings playoff games when we have up to a 1,000 people at a time.

That was kind of nuts. Question, if the Swiss shot had went in and there were no interference penalty and the US goal counted, would the US goal still count? And if not, why not stop play right then?

I like the US jerseys, especially the new white ones. Anything's better than the 06 Olympics when every team had those gawd-awful stripes. Have a feeling we better get one of these past Hiller soon or this is setting up perfectly for the Swiss.

NBC has been so gracious to put all the hockey games on USA, MSNBC, and CNBC. Problem is, the games are nowhere to be found when the game starts. Instead, we get to watch the last period of a women's game between Slovakia and Russia. Or, maybe women's curling. And eventually we get to the game with about 2 minutes left in the first period. This terrible planning is completely frustrating since every other sport gets their games broadcast in their entirety except men's hockey. Isn't this tournament only the biggest event at these Vancouver Olympics? Tell them they suck at nbcolympicsfeedback@nbcuni.com

Meh, not much of a basketball fan except for OSU. Pistons suck....stopped following them after they traded Chauncey for Iverson. Watch Cavs games with my roommate, fun team to watch. Still root for the Pistons when they play each other though. And the US has tons of hockey fans, just not as high percentage as Canada.

My facebook feed has all sorts of people posting "USA! USA! USA!" and a lot of them arent hockey fans. So apparently people found their way to it. Maybe NBC alerted people that the game was on MSNBC during their broadcast? Doubtful.
