The Wings had better step up the intensity. I see they're dominating in hits, but I'm not seeing it translate into battles for pucks. I'm seeing Wings coasting around, and just generally not going the extra mile. It's time for the big money players other than Lids and Mule to produce. Now their time to steal us a game that we haven't deserved to win so far. -
There were empty seats? Hmm, ok. Looked pretty packed to me. I especially noticed a lot of people when they started jumping up and down as Lidstrom raised his stick of glory and the Ducks skated dejected back to their bench. Maybe that was just me though. And one more thing, Detroit Stanley Cup parades? 1,000,000+. Anaheim's? 15,000. I believe an LOL is in order.

Zumaya didn't look too terrible. I always worry about his control, but he was being aggressive and throwing that heat. Hope he manages to stay healthy for a change.

I hate the Lions. I hate William Clay Ford Sr. I hate letting myself feel some sort of hope each and every year. Might some of these guys end up being solid draft picks, sure. But right now, I'm pretty underwhelmed. I mean, a Tight End? That was our most pressing concern?

The Midday Show which I listen to regularly on 97.1 The Fan in Columbus was also encouraging fans to beat up Red Wings fans. The one guy has a vendetta against Detroit and just spews trash out of his mouth about them constantly.
