I don't get it either. I can understand not having high confidence in Ozzie after this trainwreck of a season, but he's going to be the starter. Why not get behind him and hope for the best? I guess different personalities have different attitudes, but still. It's no fun if you can't have any faith at all.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure we'll see Guillen in LF and Thames DH'ing most days. I think this team can do well if they build some chemistry. It seems more of a team this year rather than a collection of names.

That was much better. Yeah, it was closer than it should have been, but the Wings played with some purpose and energy today. They made very few mistakes, and when they did, Ozzie actually came out and stopped them. He stopped the puck, we won....nothing else matters.

I love Hoss, but Johan is a Detroit Red Wing. He's the kind of player the Wings have always built their teams with and why the Wings have always been successful. To hell with the salary cap....

On ESPN they were previewing the Tigers and they said Zumaya was at 80% but he was throwing the ball at 98mph. No telling if any of those pitches are hitting the strike zone, but that sounds pretty promising. One of the insiders was also saying that Leyland feels a lot better about this year's team than last season's, and if the Tigers don't get off to a good start, Leyland could be fired.

We didn't have anything to lose. We were getting our asses kicked, we made a nice rally to get back into it, and we came up short. It didn't work, but if it had, he'd be coach of the year.

It amazes me that this team doesn't even have junior high basics down. You don't run up and then hold the ball before midcourt so that you're forced to make desperate passes. Furthermore, you make adjustments so that you don't do it for an entire half and 2 overtimes. Also it's pretty pathetic to get outrebounded that badly by a MAAC team whose tallest player is what, 6'6"?

I agree that the first overall pick is gross overpayment for Cutler. The guy hasn't proven anything. Also, with the ongoing *****-fest in Denver, we could probably get him for cheaper than if everything were quiet. I'd take him on my team, but I'm not sure he's worth the 1st overall pick.

I have no idea, but my brother sent it to me, which he got from somebody else, saying it was likely the real thing. Therefore, it's probably not.
