I agree about Cooper. He was honored during the Penn State game for making the Hall of Fame and it was a strong mixture between "boo" and "Coop". Yeah, he screwed the pooch against Michigan, but he also put together some of the best teams in Ohio State history, including the 1998 team which may have been our best ever. But if you can't beat Michigan, you're pretty much worthless to us.

No kidding. If you watch the commercial you'd think the Pens swept the Wings in 4. It's ridiculous....and if you're gonna have something like that, at least have one for us too. f*** the NHL and their love of Cindy, it makes me sick. I understand it's part of marketing, but packaging something that makes the champions look bad? WTF?

I can't believe more people aren't calling for Kopecky. He does just about nothing. I don't have anything against the guy, but he's not really bringing anything to the table.

I ignore it. I, however, miss the days when other teams fans would register with threads like "Red Wings suck". Those were always more fun than our own fans bashing people.

You are incredibly salty tonight. I don't mean to come off as if I'm over here fartin rainbows, but it's still early. It's not the end of the world. If you were to ask my roommate he'd tell you I was in the living room, swearing all night. I'm usually as pissed off as you when the Wings play like this....for some reason, I'm not too worried. If this continues, save me a seat on the hatewagon though.

You see, I am a Lions fan, which is why I find it hard to get too pissed off watching my favorite team, the defending Stanley Cup champs, play a little lacksadaisical. I'm not saying I'm not unhappy with their performance, but I guess I'm like the Wings, I'm still fat and happy with last season and believe we'll get it going.

Babcock should say that because their level of play hasn't been deserving. But I think everyone in the world knows that the Wings are the elite team. They aren't playing great, yes. There is no reason to open any bottles of champagne. I just think it's little much if you believe the Wings arent an elite team, as opposed to an elite team that is playing like piss.

Wings arent an elite team? Maybe they haven't played up to their potential, but it's ten games in. It's the same team from last year, plus a big free agent. They're resting on their laurels a bit much, but they'll come around. They always do.
