Was Cheli before the deadline? I thought he was a deadline acquisition that year. And btw, Bill Ranford was ******* amazing for about a game and a half after Ozzie went out. Then he fell apart like Tim Cheveldae. Wendell Clark was a great player, but no one should ever remember him as a Wing. And Ulf Samuelsson.....god I hate him.

It doesnt matter. Of course we're going to be excited. We just dominated our way through the SC playoffs, lost basically no one(apologies to Dom), and added the biggest FA on the market. People are going to immediately say repeat. When the 09 playoffs come around, people will be much more cautious and probably pessimistic because Holland didnt acquire whoever at the deadline. We just won the cup, and we basically just won the offseason. It's fun....and it's pretty much meaningless. So anything anybody says about this upcoming season doesnt really matter because no one really takes it that seriously right now.

No. Brad Stuart is nice and all, but not that exciting. Todd Bertuzzi was terrible. Before them, I cant even remembered trade deadline acquisitions. Robert Lang? A god, but he was lazy and he sucked. Schneider? He left us for Anaheim, good timing, LOL. Being excited at the trade deadline is overrated.

Someday, Crosby will be a complete player and will likely be exponentially better than Dats and Z are in their primes. Right now, Dats and Z are better players, because not only are they great offensively, they're the best defensive forwards in the league. Not too mention, Crosby gets frustrated easily and whines when he should be fighting through checks and neutral zone interference.

Yeah, except the Wings had a good reason to *****. They scored the first goal of the game and it was taken anyway on a bulls*** call, and then Dallas scores the first goal when their player has a skate on Ozzie's nuts. That was a game changing call. There were no game changing calls in Game 2, we didn't even score on the powerplay. The Pens need to stop bitching like Rasheed Wallace after every foul call.

All this bitching about the calls. You're getting your asses kicked. Suck it up, deal with it. If you can't score a f'in goal, I think you got bigger problems than officiating.
