I thought I was in the minority but I miss Gary Thorne and Clement. They were the playoffs to me. They made every game feel huge, and some people hated them, but they were the voice of so many great moments in my Wings childhood, I just loved them. I like Sam Rosen on MSG, I like Rick Jeannerette, and Doc is alright.

Besides, would it really be the playoffs if Dom's traveling out of the net didn't result in a goal? Too bad Lids wasnt there this time. Dom is/has always been the man in the playoffs for us. He 6-1 in playoff series with us, I think we can rely on him. -

You could tell this was a better JLA crowd during the third period last night. It really showed on Tv....hope the Wings get some of the energy from the city that they were getting back in the 90s.

I disagree about Franzen. When he was out there, he was making things happen and was always around the action. He could have laid the body on a few more times, but if he keeps this up, he'll be a huge asset to our playoff success. -
