Why use rationale? -
The Stanley Cup is given to the team that adds the biggest name. For example, if LA had added Campbell, Fedorov, and Hossa, they would be the Stanley Cup Champions. Make sense?

Well unless it was for someone who was sure thing, I wouldnt want to give up Howard. If we had traded Howard for Fedorov, I'd have been pissed.

Brad Stuart is a tough defenseman who brings some of what this team needs. The guy is a shot-blocking machine. He's not Nicklas Lidstrom, but what did you expect?

I suppose we were gonna get Hossa for Sammy and Cory Emmerton, right? Or how about Crosby for Hudler?

I'm happy with this. Stuart is a much needed asset. This will definitely help us come playoff time. I still wish we'd have gotten a forward, but we didnt give up much. Everyone knows our good draft picks dont come until the 7th round anyway.

Because I'm a bandwidth and organizationally-friendly poster. Not all trade will be reported until around 5 PM. The same people bitching in here would be pissed if we did make a trade and gave up too much. I know we need someone as much as anyone, but the deadline isn't over. -

Yeah, I like it too. Forsberg should be in an Avs uni. Certainly not a Preds uni. Just like Fedorov doesn't look right outside of a Detroit jersey.

OSU still undefeated at Notre Dame in the last ten years. If nothing else, that makes me a little happier about this crappy season. That and we somehow took one from Michigan at Yost again.
