We need to have hope...Rodney will return to form upon his return...in that sense, he will be a deadline acquisition.

I think you guys put a little too much emphasis on academics. Yeah, its important, but to the people who make these decisions, its not as important as money. -

Of the schools I've heard that are realistic, West Virgina and Louisville or Pitt make the best sense to me. What I wonder about is the divisions...assuming they'd do East-West, you'd have Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, and possibly WV/UL in the same division, with powerhouses like Indiana, Illinois, Northwestern, and Minnesota in the other. It wouldnt be a very balanced conference. -
I ***** all the time about not being able to watch Tigers games down here....but performances like today's make me feel better that I dont waste time and anger. It's just one game, actually a few games, and it's obvious the bullpen needs some serious help. If Rodey and Zumaya were in the forms of last year AND healthy, we probably have 5-10 more wins.

And the Tigers drop 2 of 3 to the Royals at home. I called that one... At least C-Mo looks like he's starting to turn things around.

First of all, the whole dogfighting realm is disgusting. Anybody who defends it as a Southern tradition has issues. However, what really irks me is that you can't turn on ESPN without seeing this crap. Not too mention they feel the need to occasionally show videos of the poor animals forced to partake in this madness. When did ESPN stop covering sports? They never cover sports anymore, all they're worried about is scandal and drama that's related to sports. Dont even get me started on the whole "Who's Now" premise. That's the dumbest s*** I've ever seen. But next time you watch ESPN, notice they're not really talking about sports, save for the condensed 20 second highlights they run, they're talking about contracts and "he said, she said" bulls***.

They tried to give on away tonite, Inge's walkoff homer won it in 10. Looks like C-Mo had a good game for a change. Homer and a double.

...and then they get blown out by the Royals. It happens...

Thames goes onto the 15 Day DL. Nice to sweep the Twins. We dont usually play to well against them.

My point being, if you want to beat Michigan, you just air it out. It's always been done that way. My roommate just said, "Ask Kordell Stewart and Michael Westbrook..." He's an ******* and a Cowboys fan. Nuff said. -
Thats right...even with Colon being a bust, I'd take Miner for Farnsworth. I liked Farnsworth, he just never filled out his potential. And Miner is usually pretty solid.

Thanks for the laugh man. Been a rough day... -
Didnt we get Colon from Atlanta a year or two back? I'm trying to remember who we traded to get him. BTW, my radio went out, MLB is catching on to small radio stations who broadcast the Tigers games online. Keep me updated...

Well Michigan's secondary always sucks. Always....Charles Woodson the exception. Their offense should be good enough to beat another weak Big Ten conference though. Maybe the guys steppin in learned something from their excellent rush defense last season. -
I love UFC, just dont get to see it much anymore. I was supposed to watch this Saturday night but ah, something came up.

Anyone but USC. I can't wait for them to be old news just like Miami and FSU. And by anyone but USC, I mean anyone but USC and Michigan.....and Notre Dame.........and Florida. Haha -
I'd have to agree with your friend.

I prefer the red jerseys but it always seemed more natural to me when the home team wore white. -
I've been making people jealous all day. Picked up a copy of the Free Press, gonna frame it along with my ticket.

My very early Big Ten Top 5... Michigan Penn State Ohio State Wisconsin Iowa Everything seems to be lined up for Michigan this year. Plenty of talented Seniors, a favorable schedule (only one road game against a team that had a winning record last year at Wisconsin), and they get Ohio State at home. Ohio State is gonna be better than people think. No more high flying offense, but Boeckman is a lot like Craig Krenzel. He's not gonna throw for 300 and 4 TDs but he avoids mistakes. The ground game could be huge with sophomore sensation Chris Wells as the started and one of the best RB recruits coming to OSU in Brandon Saine. The defense should be great, although the secondary will need to step up. Malcolm Jenkins is back though and he's one of the best in the nation at cornerback. I see Ohio State winning a lot of close games and probably dropping a heartbreaker or two. -
It was definitely real loud there tonite. Felt like you were at a World Series game once it seemed like there was a real chance Verlander would get the no-no.
