Conley has already accidently said Oden is going pro, nothing from Greg yet. I havent heard anything about Mike going out this season, although he certainly could. With Koufos coming in this next season, losing Conley would be a bigger blow than losing Oden in my opinion. While I'd like to believe Oden would stay, I've been burned before.

Alright boys...time to prove this season is gonna be different. We have to show the will to drive to the net and get ugly rebound goals. This is the time of the year when Bobby Lang makes us forgive him. This is when genius that is Nicklas Lidstrom makes the opposing forwards his *****. This is when Henrik Zetterberg comes back from injury and shines. Todd Bertuzzi is here to lay some people out and create room for the wizardry of Pavel Datsyuk. And oh yes, we have Dominik Hasek, who has had one playoff year with the Wings, and one cup. This is the time when we make the league respect us again.

7 years @ 6-7 million...wow. I mean, I'm happy we got Dats locked up, but I'd happier if it was Zetterberg getting this deal.

Are any of you aware of Dom's comments about the Blue Jackets last week or was that only a big deal in Columbus. CBJ announcers keep mentioning their shootout win a week ago but not Sunday's loss. By the way, Danny Gare, CBJ color commentary, does a great Hasek impression. Damnit Dom, what now....

At what point does Lang get bench in favor of, say, a worthy player? I'm so sick of watching him lose the puck, pass the puck outside the zone, stand around and do nothing in our own zone, take lazy penalties. I've been forgiving of Robert because of his playoff production, but this is absolutely ridiculous for someone with his salary. May the door strike you firmly on the ass on your way out, Bobby.

So far, so pathetic. I think it's safe to say I dislike Robert Lang more than any other Red Wings player in history.

If anyone could have made a 3.....ANYONE....we win this game, or at least have a chance at the end. Oden had his best game of the season, too bad he wasnt a factor on defense much because Florida was nailing three's all night. I just...ugh....I will never go to Florida for the next 10 years. Butler...you're in my doghouse all offseason. You know, there should be a lot of pride in making it to two national championship games in one year...but the fact that we lost both to Florida....it's awful. I...I...screw it. Night everyone... This has got to be a first right? I mean, the Football National Championship game has only been around for 10 years....so this must be the first time the same two schools faces off in football and basketball for the national championship.

Decent but boring game...at least we won and I got to watch.

I have a theory....just sit Oden out the entire first half. He ALWAYS picks up two fouls and sits out a majority of the first half anyway and then dominates the second half. So why not let him come in and dominate with 5 fouls to give? Of course this will never happen, but it seems to work that way. And yes, good all around game yesterday. If we dont win this game, I'm going to develop a serious Florida complex.
