GDT 4/2/23 Wings @ Maple Leafs: The Kaspering

I never understood why Zed and company had southern accents in that movie. They were in LA. Would be sick if SY just signed Lucic and Gudas and called it an offseason. -
GDT 4/2/23 Wings @ Maple Leafs: The Kaspering

Considering this is his first time ever competeing on NA ice, and hes barely practiced with our team, id say he did pretty freaking good for an 18 year old 2C lol. Hes got the fearless gene like Seider and Bert. Hes gonna move Larkin to 2C where he belongs in the next few seasons. The Wings didnt even trust Larkin to play center at this age... I think the Wings should let Eddogg play past 9 games. We know hes a stud in the making, so burn an ELC year and get him on a longer contract at lower AAV sooner. -
Are we talking about the original bible that was written in Aramaic? Then transcribed into Latin, and where the Catholic church decided to alter passages to their own liking and also throw out entire books of it? Or are we talking about Luther's bible, which he transcribed from that mess into German (badly)? Or the modern King James bible which is transcribed from Luther's and is basically a transcription of a transcription of a transcription. Mind us much of these languages don't even share the same alphabet - but I bet they got it right. And who better than ppl from 2000 years ago to tell us how to behave today. Yo the guys who believed the earth was flat, grew to 5ft tall, and died at 30, really had it figured out. Lets listen to their ancient wise s*** about not wearing mixed fabrics and sucking dick. But from the atheist angle - god literally delivered us a grade A form of population control with the gays and u chuds can't help but to be hostile to anything that's different than you. When the earth doesn't overheat and kill ur family, thank a rainbow man.

Was at the Seattle Thunderbirds game last night and half way through the game it registered in my brain that my old fishing buddy who scouts the WHL for the Islanders might be there. Sure enough I went up to the top balcony and he was there. He was scouting the thunderbird goalies and Gracyn Sawchyn apparently. (I wouldn't mind drafting Sawchyn) But anyway, he's a michigan guy so of course I asked what he thought about the Wings these days. He said Kasper and Edvinsson are super exciting prospects. And he puts Kasper at the same level as Barzal (who he was heavily responsible for in scouting for the Isles). The only other thing we really talked about of note besides fishing, was Korchinski. Chicago drafted this kid right ahead of Kasper. Bros, he's super good. Excellent skating, excellent passing, QBs basically every play, plays high like a forward and loves to rack up assists. We're going to have to deal with that from Chiacgo soon. -

Marco chose #92 B A S E D number choice -
Going to a Seattle Thunderbirds game today. We in the playoffs, and we have the only openly rainbow player in the NHL (drafted) Luke Prokop. Massive 6'6" defensive Dman taken in the 3rd by the Preds. We also have Kevin Korchinski (drafted right before Kasper by CHI) who's a hella good OFD. Reid Schaefer (32 overall by EDM in Kaspers draft) big PWF. Brad Lambert (30 overall by WPG in Kaspers draft) creative C. Nolan Allan (32 overall by CHI in Eddoggs draft) Dman. Dylan Guenther (9th overall in Eddoggs draft by ARI) dynamic winger. A bucha these guys also got NHL, AHL, and ECHL time this year too before being sent back down. Seattle is basically the powerhouse of the WHL, and I expect a cup. But my favorite thing about this team is - not only did they wear the pride jerseys - they also all taped their sticks up with rainbow colors to support their teammate. Going above and beyond. And that's why they are going to win a CHL championship. Because they put their teammates above one vague line from the bible written 300 million years ago. And I'm going to laugh when all the chuds have to watch the g-ayest team in the CHL kick everyones azzes.

Kuba - Larkin - Perron should have been etched in stone since November -
With the increased traffic around here, theres no time to start new threads

Ed is good, but Kasper is a real gamer
-
I'm actually way more excited for Kasper than I am for Edvinsson. I think he's been slept on a bit, if only slightly. Everytime I hear Wings fans talk about him it's "could be a great 2C" IMO he has all the possible trappings of a 1C. He's not uber talented, but he's extremely high tempo. He's not a datsyuk level brainiac, but he is very smart and fearless. This guy just lowers his shoulder and goes. Closest thing to a Seider type we've drafted since Mo. Anymore of these types and we'll be a powerhouse one day.

Bertuzzi is getting deployed more than Pasta and Marchand for the Bs. Guy was/is a stud top line winger.
-
I just find it amazing that your opinion can go from future bottom 6 to better than our best winger in 1 game. Wow.
-
U had him pegged for bottom 6 but also think hes better than bert...?
-
He looks as advertised to me. Well rounded buzzsaw kinda guy. Probably never gonna be some amazing physical force or amazing scoring winger. But he'll be a top6 guy that does those things. So basically Bertuzzi.
-
Wow he looks very good
-
Wings got a new massage therapist Her name is Sammy Hagar
-
Will be good for young nucks fans to be exposed to drag and understand that it is nothing scary, and actually pretty fun.

Cartler Maztuzzi
-
Highlights of his rough play
-
Bertuzzi has 6 pts in 12 games since leaving us. They're playing him on the 3rd line, but actually deploying that line a lot. I suspect to rest their superstars in the top6. Kinda pissed bc I'd like to see how he performs with Bergeron/Marchand/Pasta. Sunny had friggin 7 pts in 11 games for the Wild. Playing 3rd line as well. Interestingly, they've used him on the PP a bit just like we did, but not at all on the PK. Another guy I wouldn't mind bringing back. Vrana has 8 pts in 11 games for STL. 6 of which are goals. He's playing 2nd line, but getting very sheltered minutes. Shame he didn't work out cause the dude really can score at will. Hronek has only played 3 games due to injury.

Kasper and Mazur joining the Griffs for the remainder of the season as well. Mazur signing his ELC for next year. Now would be a good time to watch the Griffs. Will be interesting to see how Kasper, Mazur, and Wallinder play.
-
Eddog officially recalled (non emergency) Wallinder signs his ELC for next season, but will report to the Griffs on a tryout basis for the remainder of the season.
