All black get up. Fresh snapback. Wristwatch drip. Discusses how he loves shoes and fashion. This is our PK Subban. When asked about goals of the team going forward and the tough decisions at the deadline he responds (not verbatim): "Our goal is still to push for the playoffs (HYPE) and we lost some good character guys in the room, and we'll always be friends with those guys, and it will be nice to see them again in Boston." Vrana, Sunny, and Hronek = dead to us Bertuzzi = always in our heart

Yeah but then we have a 1D in the system as early as 2016, instead of a 2nd pair in Hronek. Holland also doesn't then have the money to waste on Nielsen (5 year impact + buyout) and Vanek. Chychrun likely goes to GR the first year, and no Nielsen (40 pts + center depth) and Vanek (38 pts in 48 games) to add depth. We likely finish a lot lower in the standings and draft top5 instead of Rasmussen at #9. AKA we land a Pettersson, Heiskanen, Makar... So going into the 2017/18 season our young core is something like: Bertuzzi - Larkin - Mantha Chychrun - Makar Compared to: Bertuzzi - Larkin - Mantha Rasmussen Hronek Thats A LOT BETTER And we have more money to spend now that Datsyuk's contract is naturally off the books. Holland is much thicker into the rebuild at this point and doesn't go spend all this money on bloated contracts like Nielsen. We likely still draft Veleno and Zadina the following season (cause Holland) but we also still likely get Berggren too. We way even still get Seider the next season since only Holland and Yzerman seemed to be aware of how good he was. Who's to say if we're still drafting low enough to get Raymond and Edvinsson at that point, but who really cares, the rebuild would be massively farther along.

Hes coming back after he gets his cup -
Imagine if we had got Chychrun that year in the draft and kept Datysuk's salary. Tatar - Zetterberg - Nyquist Athanasiou - Larkin - Mantha Abdelkader - Helm - Glendening Miller - Sheahan - Ott Kronwall - Green Chychrun - Jensen Dekeyser - Ericsson Smith/Ouellet Howard Mrazek

Yup - we should have scooped this guy up - at the draft and at the TDL. I literally want all the Red Wings juicing. No sarcasm. -

We called it with the eye test back when he was still in the AHL. He still fails the eye test every night - and has somehow seemingly gotten even worse and more lost. The same folks who refused to recognize that at that time are now the same people saying maybes a bottom 6 grinder? Except if you ever bothered to watch him/eye test you would realize how clown world laughable that is. He literally plays like his zagina nickname. I have more faith in Jan Mursak returning to the team and contributing to the team in a meaningful way. -

5th pro season and on pace for 18 pts Almost comical at this point -
This is kinda misleading and oversimplified. You have to consider the other trades that it took to get assets like Leddy and others which loops in other trades like AA and Marc Staal, I mapped out the entire tree once in a dedicated thread (that has since been deleted by Matt, as he purged every thread my past profile ever created) and it ended up looking pretty 50/50 Wings v trade partners. I believe Kip even pointed it out. But I guess its still a win at the end of the day because we gained a lot of youth overall with all these connected trades. One thing Yzerman is grand at (usually) is gaining something that GM's want or undervalued, and then flipping it for something HE wants.

nobody raises issues on other nights. But rainbows arent oppressed right?

We traded Kampfer to ARI for nothing. Log jam in GR or something?

Ive ONLY been using this site for a while now for all my tickets, including wings games http:/www.seatnerd.com/red-wings They buy from season ticket holders who cant attend a game and want to recoup some money. Then resell them at a reasonable markup. Ive found some great deals on good seats on their for the Wings and NFL games. Highly recommend.

The only player with bravery is Provorov in that context. The Wild are coward snowflakes who only now feel emboldened because of him. When entire sports teams reject your lifestyle and we have to have these conversations, you know its tough to be a rainbow. Thats why i dont diss on rainbows. Tough people. Parents, want your kids to be tough? Raise em rainbow. They'll thank you later.

This argument makes no temporal sense. Today is easier. Tomorrow will be even easier. And the next day easier than that. But that doesnt mean the struggle is over, just because we are making progress. Its like saying this is the best time to own an Iphone and therefore we should just stop trying to improve them. Silly. The NHL is trying to reach and tap new markets of fans and players to grow the sport. New markets like rainbows, blacks, latinx, etc. The actions of the Wild players hurt the sport.

No. The future is now old man.

Most decent draft picks never even sniff the ECHL. Cossa spent a wole season with the Walleye.

Hey boomer, vietnam was half a century ago. The rainbows couldnt even openly serve until 2011. Thats right, your precious millitary literally oppressed the rainbows. Vets these days are the most coddled class in America. Support our troops stickers everywhere. More gov bennys than anyone else. Vet discounts at most major companies. Dudes literally do stolen valor and pretend to be troops for the clout. Aint nobody pretending to be rainbow. In fact being a rainbow is prolly the bravest thing you can do in todays society.
