Averages 6.36 hits per game. 2nd most on the team. Idiot.

Zadina Shut your stupid retard mouth about Sunny you stupid ******* retard

Most insane and unhinged thing I've ever read. Now that Byflugien and Chara are out of the league, Chia might legitimately be the strongest player in the NHL. He knocks forwards to the ice just flashing his chicken wings.

Thats how long moses wandered the dessert Jimmy is a bigger part of Red Wings history than Hasek

Cossa is definitely the farthest major prospect out. He needs to spend at the very least 2 seasons as the starter in the AHL yet.
-
Reporter: Do you plan on pairing Maata and Hronek again? Lalonde: That would put Chiarot in the 5/6 spot. Benny does a lot for us. Physically. We're not a hard team. He brings hard.

He needs to come out swingin'. Some nose candy would help.

Per HSJ/Lalonde - Vrana in against Caps on tuesday

Bertuzzi is off the market r slur
-
So Lou LTIR him and goes shopping again?
-
I dont disagree. Thats why i started this thread. I think our fate is determined by the next 6 games. The interesting part is Larkin is chugging. Bertuzzi i back to form. And Vrana is back.
-
Win 3 of the next 5 and SY will bless us with Patrick Kane lol
-
Vrana is back on on the wings I do still think theres a breakdown between Vranas camp and Yzerman. I think SY will opt to keep Larkin and Beetuzzi around, and might have a major blockbluster trade involving Vrana in his back pocket. Vrana will be showcased over the next two weeks, and still has term on his deal (which is very valuable). I could see him being involved in a package for Chychrun or Meier. Sounds too good to be true, but SY is also the king of unexpected big trades. Vrana + Walman + 1st for Chychrun?

Walnuts was always the more NHL ready goalie. SY sees higher longterm potential in Cossa. Personality/interview wise, Cossa seems to be very high in the confidence market. I do think this is a very desirable trait in a goalie. Walnuts on the other hand has the more shy reserved personality you expect in a goalie. Which to me means hes either secretly uber confident in himself, or hes someone whos gonna shatter at the first sign of pressure.

It's blatantly apparent SY is after solid players - but also players with strong personalities and leadership qualities.. Seider is evidence of that. Cossa is evidence of that. And I suspect Kasper maybe as well. Edvinsson seems to have a cocky personality - but is probably the furthest from this leadership trope along with Raymond. Even if Cossa never turns out to be as good as Walstedt he seems like a guy who's going to be well liked. He's gonna at the min be an Osgood.

We're in the hunt for a wildcard spot along with several other teams. Yzerman has re-signed Maata and taken Bertuzzi off the market. Indicating he's more interested in pursuing the playoffs than acquiring future assets. 1. He wants to make the playoffs regardless of cup chances. Probably for a couple reasons. He wants to see how this team performs in a playoff situation. Who steps up? Who caves? Is Bertuzzi really the playoff buzzsaw the league expects him to be? Is Larkin someone who can lead this team to a cup? Regardless of that - it also gives this team and its young players a glance into the next level that is the playoffs. An experience I'm sure he wants everyone to get sooner rather than later. 2. SY is already fulfilled by his prospect pool. He likes his young core, and doesn't feel the heavy need for future assets that we had in the past anymore. This should lend a tremendous amount of faith to the players already in the system. Edvinsson, Wallinder, Albert Johansson, Anton Johansson, and Buium are all likely as good as we suspect. Buchnelikov, Lombardi, Kasper, Mazur, Hanas, Berggren, and Soderblom are likely as good as we suspect. But also Seider, Larkin, Bertuzzi, Fabbri, Hronek, Vrana, Ras, Veleno, and Husso he is happy with. 3. Vrana and Bertuzzi are our deadline additions. Both are returning to form and will likely be an incredible boost to this team. Think about it. They were both penned into our top6 this summer - but neither has really played - till now. 4. Doesn't this make us buyers? I don't think SY would hedge our future for a rental. If he acquires, it will be a meaningful piece he intends to keep. Chychrun and Meier might be too expensive. Maybe he sneaks in and acquires one after the rest of the teams panic buy other assets. But I think he likely goes after low impact assets or stands pat. Loww impact assets like Kulikov - Domi or Barbashev or Gavrikov could be interesting too. Regardless - I think it's interesting that SY is forcing this team forward. I wonder how much of this is him being organic, and how much is this pressure to return the team to form from ownership.
-
SY seems to be more bull about this team than bear. We might not trade anyone away. Hell, I'm starting to think SY might go out and buy a new toy for us. Chychrun? Meier?
-
Per Friedman - Bertuzzi OFF the market, SY not looking to trade him. Bertuzzi haters boned in the ass AGAIN!
-
Yeah this is literally r-slurred. And his previous article was "wings should trade Eddogg for Jiricek." Ignore.

That's practically still jewish. We tricked the romans into that.
-
Anybody down to sell high on Walman now that Maata is re-signed? He'd probably be right at home in Dallas.
