League cant have scrubs running around stabbing their legit players with foot knives. Kruppa got this one right.
-
Ive predicted the entire playoffs accurately so far.
-
His career with hockey Canada is canceled. Everyone will remember this and he will not be invited back. Ever. With great weapons comes great responsibilty. I think it also matters bc Veleno is a scrub doing this to a vet top6er.
-
Benn and Domi did nothing wrong. Kolesar and Stone tangled with the bulls and got the horns. Veleno on the other hand could have ended a much better players career with a deadly weapon.
-
Pass on Suter. Not a bad bottom 6 center at all, but Id like someone with a bit more edge/grit in that spot.

Oh yeah "they wouldnt cause itd look bad" Very convincing. Explain Kevin Weekes. -
Arizona folding. Sunbelt needed a win. It's genius actually. Too genius to not be rigged.

Bedard to Chicago... FLA and VGK in the finals... Anybody else starting to suspect the playoffs are rigged?

Hey retard when are going to present an actual argument pro lottery? Anyway, finally doing my homework on Reinbacher. It's going to be hard for SY not to take this guy at #9. He plays exactly like Seider. He even likes to play the body and has a crappy half slap shot like Seider. But I almost think this half slapper is an advantage. It's no Al Macinis slapper, but the half slap keeps the puck low which the forward is looking for on the redirect. Gap control is great. Decision making excellent. Has a QB mindset. Great stick and body play. I really don't want to draft this kid because I want a forward. But f*** it's going to be hard for SY to passs on him. -
The good: Anton Johansson - 18 year old RHD got 21 games in the SHL this year. He's sneaking up the defensive prospect board. Not to be confused with Albert Johansson. No relation. Dimitri Buchnelikov - making the transition to the KHL at 19 Amadeus Lombardi - record breaking season for the Firebirds Owen Mehlenbacher - good season in the USHL Brennan Ali - good season in the USHL Sebastian Cossa - great season in the ECHL Shai Buium - looked steady in 2nd college year Carter Mazur - graduated to pro and selected to worlds Pasquale Zito - continues to score at will in the OHL Cross Hanas - graduated to pro and played well William Wallinder - dominate in the SHL as a 20 year old Carter Gylander - another great college season Albert Johansson - graduated to NA pro The Bad: Dylan James - mediocre first college season for a 40th overall player Tnias Mathurin - only played one CHL game this season Redmond Savage - average 2nd season in college. Transferring to MSU now. Liam Dower-Nilsson - demoted out of the SHL, may be leaving Frolunda Oscar Plandowski - average QMJHL season Theodor Niederbach - demoted out of the SHL Donovan Sebrango - demoted to the ECHL Eemil Viro - demoted to ECHL Sam Stange - not performing well in college Jan Bednar - consistently bad stats Kyle Aucoin - bad college player Kienan Draper - bad player and joke pick Chase Bradley - better than a lot of our disappointing college players, but still nothing special The Ugly (odd): Robert Mastrosimone - had his best season with new team ASU. Probably won't sign with us and will opt for UFA. Jared McIssac - multiple seasons for GR. When will he get his shot? Maybe he doesn't deserve it? Victor Brattstrom - confusing why he was even signed Antti Tuomisto - confusing why he was even signed
-
I could buy an argument where he is our TOP forward prospect outside of Kasper. Buch and Lombardi are question marks with no pro experience yet. Hanas is ahead of Mazur currently, but it's clear to me Mazur will pass him soon. Still, he's definitely in the mix of our top forward prospects. Buch is going to Lada Togliatti. They're a bad team, but he's surely going to get a lot of playing time now. This will be the year to follow his progress.

I guess the only true survivors of the Holland era are Larkin and Ras? Funny that we had to deal with the years of R-slurs trashing Ras, and praising Veleno and Zadina. I'm still not thrilled Larkin is on the roster till 2031. But the cap will come up dramatically and his $8.7 will look like $6 today towards the end. I can be okay with that when the cap comes up. He will be the 2C behind Kasper soon enough. Seider's career is literally going exactly like Nick Lidstrom's. He's not going to be captain till he's like 35 and 7 norris trophies later. Despite being the best player on the team. And unlike Yzerman/Lidstrom, being the best leader on the team.

I had this convo with Kip earlier this year, for the life of me I don't know why Hanas gets ignored as a prospect. >2nd round pick >Ends up becoming the top player on his CHL team >SY signs him to his ELC earlier than typical >Is immediately a top-6er in GR in his first season This kid is not flashy, but he's a very good well-rounded player. And SY has him on the fast track. Probably not going to be a superstar for us, but middle 6 forward very likely.
-
Reminder that our top prospect Holy Cross Hanas has a brother named Holy Crusade "Cru" Hanas, and he is available in this years draft.
-
Seriously the market for Joe Veleno needs to be explored. 1. Larkin 2. Copp 3. Kasper 4. Veleno 5. Lombardi Kasper immediately got played at 2C upon joining the Wings. He's already leapfrogged Veleno. How long before Lombardi passes him? How long b4 the center we draft at #9 this year passes him? Veleno, Zadina, and Lindstrom are bad players that have no future. We needed to get what we can for them seasons ago, but now's a good time to start.

We can probably get Bjarnason with our second 1st. So no need to trade that pick. But Hrabal is someone I don't want to pass on either at 6'6". We can probably trade two of our 2nds to move up and ****** him up at around 30-35. If Bjarnason goes before 18th, we probably have to make that move to get either Hrabal or Hellnemo. We absolutely need another G soon so we have someone to pit against Cossa. No way do I want that kid having an automatic path to the NHL.
-
Id rather use our extra picks to trade up and get a goalie
-
Yzerplan has always been about patience. Yall are hopped up on chiarots and red bull.
-
My moves also dont recquire giving up great assets.
-
Timo Meier doesnt even score in the playoffs

Surprised he only got 5 games. He should have gotten another 10 after the stomp for diving. Doubt hes ever asked to play for team Canada again now. Sad day for Canada, and therefore the world.

Veleno will likely get a contract offer from the wings, and he'll likely take it for the good of his career. But yes he's not very good, and these actions are shameful. I would be A-ok with the wing not qualifying and replacing him with Nosek/Glendog/Motte.
