Exactly. Lol
-
1 million internet points.
-
a) Its def not all about total value b) $6.5m isnt getting it done.
-
Wtf is Larkin in these scenarios?
-
Demelo, Montour, or Myers if willing to take a big pay cut would be decent options 2nd pair rd.
-
Matt Boldy got $7m and Cole Caufield got $7.85m. Raymond is younger and/or has a better track record then all these players. No way Raymond signs for $6m longterm and no way Yzerman should be looking at anything other then 8year term. Anything under $7.5m for Raymond is a steal. Anything under $8.5m for Seider is a steal. Dont expect either to sign much below those #s.
-
Theres little to no chance either let alone both Edvinsson and ASP will be better then Seider but if they are thats a great problem to have and they will be paid accordingly. If Larkin and Danielson are both better then Raymond in 4 years were in great shape because it means Larkin has aged well and Danielson has developed well and we have one of the best 1-2 down the middle in the league. If Danielson is better then Raymond in 4 years he gets $8.5m - $1m more then Raymond. You dont not pay your star players there worth because you have prospects coming that might be better in 4 years. lol Your severly underestimating these contracts which is setting yourself up for disapointment my friend.
-
Seider will get around $8.5m Ray will get around $7.5m.
-
That I agree with.
-
Youre underestimating.
-
No it wont.
-
Thats $38.3m to sign 9 forwards and 3 dmen. $17m going to Ray and Seider and another $4m going to Veleno, Berg, Johansson leaving you with 17.3m to sign 6 forwards and 1 dman. Even if 4 of those forwards are league min your not signing Stamkos AND Kane AND acquiring Andersson. So no it cant be done.
-
Bridging Seider or Raymond would be dumb both need max term and both combined will likely come in at a extra $4m.
-
Where is the cap space coming from?
-
Because he only put up 28pts in the bottom6 last season making a whopping $850k and hes probly gonna demand a raise of around $600k. Yzerman is known to hate these hard working grinding type players he prefers players with more skill like Zadina and Berggren.
-
Not at all what these mean. Unless you also think Larkin, Raymond, Seider, Debrincat, Compher, etc whov all made similar comments/posts are all moving on as well.
-
What surprises you about this number? In a good way or a bad way? Everything I've seen has him projected between $8.5-9.5m. I personally believe Yzerman will get him in on the lower end maybe even slightly below the floor but $9m is definitely within range.
-
Tbf if players want to sign in their hometown theyr usually willing to take a hometown discount. Debrincat and Copp didnt do that imo. Both are at best high market value probably 1m+ to much. Yzerman seems to be average at best at UFA signings (which goes for most gms) but has exceled at RFA signings (hope so for Ray and Seider) and drafting.

If hes available at 47 sure. At 15? Hell nah. Doubt Eiserman will be available but if he is he should be the pick. This team desperately needs an elite goal scorer. After that if any of Iginla, Nygard, Greentree are on the board in that order.
-
No team is trading for Copp with 3 years remaining at $5.6m. Fabbri can probly be moved with salary retained. Your not replacing what Veleno brings to this team at his price tag. Husso should be fine if healthy. Maatta may be our best trade chip hes good with 1year remaining at a good cap hit. Some seem to think Holl is unmoveable (buyout candidate) but I think a team would take him with salary retained.
-
They didnt get any luck when they had a 1/4 chance I dont think there going to get any luck with a 1/100 chance.
-
The Red Wings have 97.9% likelihood to stay at 15 - equal odds to move up 10 spots to 5 or fall back 1 spot to 16, so naturally they will be picking 16.
-
Edvinsson is on the team. Berggren and Johansson are no longer waiver exempt. Kasper, Danielson, and Mazur are all very close. This team is going to look very different in the next year.

Is this satire?

Its in reference to a war chief not the uniforms they wore.
