Ottawa just became verry dangerous...and i'm not talking about Stillman. They needed to bolster their defence and they did that and then some. as for Stillman he was also a very nice upgrade compared to Eaves lots of playoff experience. Wings need to do something...there is a piece or 2 missing Sundin or Jokinen and a big tough d-man D Mac will come in handy in those playoff rounds that need a tough backbone. Whats the status of Worrel?? any one know?

Selanne makes the team weaker in my point of view. He is not what he used to be and he does not have that awe-insipiring leadrship quality. He hasn't played in awhile. And if the playoffs started 4 games ago for the ducks they would have been swept. Detroit is by far the favorite with Ottawa behind them. Also don't forget, Red wings still have plenty of cash to spend to tinker (not that any tinkering needs to be done).

I think that Holland is way to smart to give too much for Hossa. Were In first place and i'm not so sure that Hossa would help all that much. Don't get me wrong Ozzie is a really really great goaltender. But HoFer ...thats special. If he was this well regarded he would not be Hasek's back up right now. He has amazing stats this season and yet he himself admits that come playoff time he will be riding the bench while Hasek will be in the spotlight. Hall of Fame goalies are always in the spotlight. In fact he had to take a backseat to Manny (not a knock against Manny). I really don't beleive that even if he gets another ring (riding the bench) or 400 wins it will make a difference. He may at some point be nominated and recognized as a very good goalie but he'll never get the votes. sorry as Kenny said Said Holland: "He's accepted that he's a No. 2 guy and that as good as he plays, while he'd love to play in the playoffs, if Dom's there, he'll be rooting for Dom. I think he's at a stage in his life where he's just happy." I may eat crow someday for my opinion (and I hope I do) but realisticly don't hold your breath.

I'm sooooo happy for Ozzie! Feel Bad for Rafalski (he's been incredible) I would have liked to see flipper in the line-up. I can't wait for the skills competition. I have a feeling that Dats is going to smoke it up on the breakaways. As for Zetta, mark my words he will be that all-star MVP this year.
