Whoaaaa Cheval!!! In my opinion Lidstrom is much better than Orr. If Orr played in these last 15 years he would have been smoked. Orr was amazing for his day but today the players are bigger and faster. Orr was a thing of beauty to watch, he really was. He was like having a forth forward out there. If Lidstrom played back then you would have an indication of how good he is next to Orr. I don't think Orr would have 8 Norris trophies.

What boggles the mind is that you read what a mere (and i'm greatly exagerating) 50 posts, and you believe that it reflects the millions of Red wing fans opinions. There is always a handfull of fans that criticise for the sake of being critical. This is one of the only web sites that I go to because most of the fans on here are very respectful and have real hockey knowledge. There is no need to be embarassed for us, because like I said, it's only a handfull of opinions that you are reading. If you do feel the need to be embarassed go back to the Pens forum and read all the "I wish that Hossa gets injured or maimed comments", because that is trully embarassing.

Bang on. But I dare say Datsyuk is a close 4th. The media has jumped on the fact that he has not put up numbers. It is not all about numbers. His play has been great. And recently(also tied at 4th) Zetta has been starting to heat up, not point wise but positioning wise.

Vancouver and Detroit are two very different machines, not comparable. I picked Chicago to beat the nucks but the Wings are a different beast. I think it may last a long as 6 games but my gut is saying 4-5. In 3-4 years from now, assuming Chi town can keep thier players, they will be a very, very tough team to beat. Detroit scored an average of 3 goals and a bit on a very stingy Ducks defense and goaltender and they did this without many goals from top players. Hawks defense is not even close to that of the Ducks and the "Bulin wall" is not as hot as Hiller was. It will be a quick series with lots of speed and probably some of the best plays in this years playoffs.

I sit in the same place at home on the floor in front of the Mega screen. If the wings aren't playing well, I shift my body over a bit to tweak my team...lol. Also If the Wings aren't playing well, I switch the station for a second and then put it right back to watch the real Wings play. Hey its worked countless times. game 3, I went to bed to finish watching...Big Mistake. Game 6, I went to the kitchen,ducks score. I went to the bathroom ducks score. Today I may have to find my good seat and station early and glue my butt to the seat and I may have to put on a catheter.LOL
