18 goals is not bad for a third liner. But if all his 18 goals went right through a goalies chest to find the net then, dammmm his shot is better than I first thought. and I'm not sure you know what Grit is. Why did he get punched in the face? maybe some grit did it??

I actually like that line, Dats is just totally amazing. Mule has a great nose for the net, with an accurate shot. Sammy has a great shot and works hard. so with the best set of hands in the NHL out there (Dats), coupled with A big body, great shot and some grit (Mule), and complimented with a hard shot and more grit (Sammy). I beleive this line is good for 5 goals With Dats out there with them it can be a veeerry dangerous line.

Anyone notice since Cherry's comments, Ovechkin hasn't been celebrating like he used to. I think that Ovechkin sure was listening to ole Don. Say what you will about Don but NHLers respect him. I remember that at one point he bashed Selanne(when he was much younger), he said he was soft. Selanne did his best to get in Dons good books and prove to him that he wasn't soft. Don even acknowledged him on HNiC.

Savard is crap always running his mouth, more than Sid. Props to Sid, made Savard look like a total *****. And Sid can throw em, he would have knocked Savard on his ass.

Hab fans had some of the best teams and players ever. I agree with you that they overrate their players but it is not as bad as Toronto. One thing about Hab fans, they will jump on their players faster than any other team, over rated or not. In Montreal no one is safe except The Rocket.

Your statement doesn't hold water. If they were losing all their games sure but this is still a team that is competeing for first place so the fans can't really complain.

I think that this thread has some merit. I too have at times thought that the Wings are doing odd things to allow games to be closer. I'm not saying an 8-0 blowout is planned. What I am saying is that the Wings are just toying with opponents at times. I'm sure that this theory is right and that Ozzy is the ring leader. He is a waaaayyy better goalie than he has been showing. A false sense of hope for the other team and noone takes the Wings for real (even though they are tied for first overall). Once the playoffs start the wings will (and mark my words) "Yank the carpet out from every teams feet". Dammm the secrets out.

To answer this I went to the streets. First answer I received was " when you always win or usually win, games tend to be 1 sided and as a fan of another team its boring knowing the outcome before the game starts" Habs Fan Second answer " As a Dallas fan I hate the Wings especially Datsyuk. The wings aren't boring but are realllly annoying to watch because they are so dam frustrating." These are 2 of my buddies back in Montreal who answered this. We all say that Devils hockey is still the most boring in the league. Red Wing hockey in my opinion is amazing to watch, especially when Pavel is on.
