I love how physical the Wings were. They have to continue that going forward.

Dom was huge in the first period. The Wings need to tighten it up a bit and they have to bury another one. This is still too close for comfort. As for Tootoo, the guy is a F-ing clown. He has zero respect for the game or its players and he proves it time and again. I hope some day someone takes him out.

Man, I certainly hope the cap rises that high. That would allow the Wings to maintain their targeted players as well as looking at some UFA's. Should be an interesting summer. -

Sucks that Blake got hurt but he may not have even been in the Wings price range. I know that they'll add a defenseman. The question is who are they targeting?

Sucks that the team has nothing to show for that deal. Bert is hitting his stride in Anaheim and Matthias gets 2 goals in his first game.

Barry only roots for the Wings when they are in the Finals. Otherwise he'll say how great they are but still pick someone else to win. I truly think he hates the Wings.

My dad got tix for this game for his 35th anniversary with his company so I didn't have a say in the location. We'll be up top but we're gonna try to get there early enough for the pregame skate. I'll have my Zetter jersey and Hockeytown beanie on. I'm letting my dad wear my Dats jersey.

Very happy at the prospect of Ozzie coming back. Chelios isn't going anywhere. I believe he'll retire a Red Wing. I'm surprised at the Lilja news but depth is key in the salary cap era.

I love Bucci but I don't agree with some of the stuff he's said about several teams, including the Wings. Vancouver won't even win their division this year.

I guess they'll only run into that problem if they go to the Finals. Considering it only effects 3 players, I'm guessing they'll put the Cup patch under the C or A, similar to how the Devils and Stars dropped the 2000 patch under the Stanley Cup patch during the '00 Finals.
