20 more hard minutes and they'll be a step away from the conference finals. Great effort so far after a sluggish start but they have to kill off that BS penalty to start the period.

Living in So Cal, I've watched a few of the Ducks playoff games thus far and what they've really done is just flat out stop teams defensively. Save for game 4 against Minnesota, teams just aren't scoring against them. They did luck out in drawing Minnesota and then Vancouver because they were able to shut down those teams that already had trouble scoring goals. They'll get a much better test against either San Jose or the Wings. The advantages they have now are health and rest.

Goaltending and special teams have been the difference. Gotta build on that big time.

Typical homer Flames fan. All the momentum you have can be attributed to getting some calls in your favor and capitalizing on those PPs. You almost got another one today on the Maltby "interference" call.

As bad as the Wings played, it took a pair of 5 on 3s to beat them. The Flames got handed this one.
