So Columbus made it official huh? That's cool because I really like that 3rd jersey logo. And for those against a 3rd jersey for the Wings (which includes myself) don't worry too much because I've read and heard many times now that the NHL and Reebok are doing away with 3rd jerseys next season. I don't know how true this is but where there's smoke there's fire.

I have yet to see the hit as I just got home but if it was from behind and Lebda was hurt to the point of a) a concussion and b) having to be taken off on a stretcher than 5 and a game for Ville is spot on. Stuff like that has to be dealt with swiftly and firmly. I'm sure a 1 game suspension will be in order with all of the attention being put on hits like this. I just hope Lebda will be ok for the playoffs.

Word is whites are coming back as the home jerseys and I've heard that Columbus is adopting the 3rd jersey logo as the primary logo next season.

I'm sure they'll be pricey. I've got a wicked shot so I'm all for any stick that makes it even scarier.

Who knows what will happen with Hasek. You almost have to assume he'll retire after this season. If that is the case, I think the Wings will go after someone via free agency or trade, let Osgood go and bring up one of the kids to be the backup. Hasek has been great this year but I still wish the Wings had made a play for Luongo in the offseason. I think they could have done it without giving up Dats or Zetter.

I still laugh at that Forbes article. How is Jay Feaster #2 overall when the guy has won 1 Cup then overpaid his stars and handcuffed his team's future?

I'm not sure he'll be a finalist for the Hart. Brodeur and Crosby are locks it would seem, but I'm not sold on Vinny being a finalist. Zetterberg would have been if not for his injury.

The Wings just played their in-hand game yesterday and lost. They need to win both games, bottom line.

Oh I'm not blaming anyone. You just have to understand where I'm coming from: I flew out to Nashville from CA and watched the Wings blow a lead with 1:04 to play and then lose in OT. I did have a blast out there with my friends though and I plan on making it a yearly trip now that I've done it the past 2 seasons.

Yeah, no doubt there. Datsyuk can't be let go in order to keep Schneider. I'm just hoping that some of the elder statesmen like Schneids and Lang will take less to stay.

I hope Nashville stays put. Florida needs to move. That franchise needs a lot of things though.

I'd say this is a must win for the Wings and they definitely have to get a measure of payback for what happened the last time they were in Music City. I was at the game and I'm still VERY pissed at how it ended.

The Wings definitely need to keep Schneider and hopefully it won't cost a lot to do it.

That would suck for me as I get 4 Wings games out here because of the Ducks and Kings and have traveled to Nashville the past 2 seasons to see the Wings as well.
