All games get aired on XM. Home Ice is channel 204 and games are aired up to 209 and then you have to go searching in, I believe, the 230s for the rest of the games.

Ovechkin so far down the list in voting totals is a crock too.

I am watching it on Center Ice. I was hoping to stream it on NHL.com so I can have the Colts game on the TV.

The article about the starters on ESPN.com said over 15 million votes came via text and 3.4 million via text in the last 5 days of voting. We all know that the Ducks and Hawks fans abused the text voting and exploited the forwarding option to essentially send thousands of text votes a day (if you don't know about this it has been posted on several different forums and threads). It is a total sham that this is such a big event because of the Canadiens' 100 anniversary season and yet FOUR teams are represented as starters. The NHL really needs to re-think the voting process.

The text voting has to be eliminated. Hopefully the league will take a look at stuff like this. Maybe someone should forward this to the league, assuming there is a way to do so.

When the players themselves are speaking up, you know something isn't right. This is the NHL. These guys don't piss and moan like pro athletes in other sports. This is an issue of integrity. If there is some "behing the scenes agenda" to keep games competitive by penalizing teams in the league then this could be a much bigger issue than most realize.

I'm not big on conspiracy theories, but there is no doubt games are being called based on the score. I'm seeing it in almost every game I watch (not just Wings games). Where is the integrity Bettman?

Why would Hossa and Gaborik even think about this? No team, that has a shot of winning anyway, can sign them both. Ain't gonna happen.

Wow. Blew a 5-2 lead in the 3rd period. Our D is not getting it done, and that is the entire team D, not just the boys on the backend. And penalties, yet again, hurt us.

The only thing we know for sure is guys are gonna be gone. There are obvious names that unfortunately need to be let go and I'm ok with that. There are some good young players in the system (Leino, Helm, Abdelkader, etc.) that can step in next year to replace guys like Mac, Downey, Maltby, etc. The big question is are guys gonna be willing to take less money? You also have to look down the road a year or 2 to see what other money is coming off the books (Lidstrom?) and you have to think Nick would take less money in his last years. Winning the Cup again would go a loooong way in being able to convince guys to take a hometown discount. The Wings need to target Z, Franzen and Hossa and go from there.
