It is Anaheim Ice now. I'm not surprised they aren't practicing today with back-to-back games this weekend. I'm sure they will be at AI on Tuesday but I'm not sure if it'll be open to the public.

An injury could force the Wings hand but with the depth of the organization right now, I don't see anything happening at the deadline. Hank isn't leaving Detroit. I haven't even given that a 2nd thought. -
GOd I hope we can keep him long term. Next summer is going to be very exciting for us Wings fans, and nerve racking!!!

That's a tough call. I also like what I saw from Meech and he can be used as a forward.

I played baseball through college and it was always my sport. But when I got the first got into hockey in 1989 and started to learn the teams and players, I latched onto Yzerman. I live in So Cal so even despite Gretzky's impact on hockey out here, I was a Wings fan through and through and have never wavered.

I have gotten so many of my jerseys, blank or customized, on ebay. I'm amazed at how I can't ever find authentic Wings RBK Edge jerseys on there. I check daily.

Yeeeees. I've been waiting to see him in that uniform for a long, long time. He's always been one of my favorites outside of Detroit. God we better win it all again this season with this roster.

More than likely it won't happen. McFarlane is doing "tweaked" chases now. For Lidstrom, most likely it will be the addition of the Cup Final patch. If they make a white jersey version, it'll be down the road in another series (a displaced chase).

Ducks are over the cap. Someone is going bye bye. I find it funny how Bert and Schneider went to the Ducks in hopes of winning a Cup and now Bert gets bought out and Schneider may be traded.

Don Cherry is awful and should be put out to pasture. Hull was great on NBC and so is Messier. Pierre Maguire and Mike Milbury make their broadcasts damn near unwatchable. And it is a well known fact that Jordan doesn't sign.

I plan on getting a Hossa jersey as he has always been one of my fav NHLers outside of Detroit. I'm kinda waiting to see what happens with the Winter Classic and if the Wings will wear a retro style jersey or have a cool patch on there. I still plan on getting a Franzen, Rafalski and Kronwall jersey with 08 Cup patches before I get a Hossa.

How funny would that be if the Wings got compensated for losing Filp to an offer sheet and it turned into Tavares?

I can't see Filp taking the money and running. They need to get him under contract for around $2 million. He hasn't proven himself beyond that figure.
