Only beef I have with Babs is probably his constant line juggling. Agree with the first statement but he second statement I don't think we can know who wanted Cleary it doesn't really matter. Holland offered the contract and he's the GM even if it was Babcock that was pushing for him he's not the one to make that decision. If Holland signed him for the sake of Babcock wanting him then Holland is still a bad GM he should be wearing the pants around the office.

Listened to it and have lost any respect left that I've had for Holland. He's disillusioned and completely lost his mind. We don't expect to bring up all the "kids" but to think the vets we have now are doing the job after this many games is absurd . We are effectively using our player in the wrong rolls. I love Helm but come on no. 2 center he's not the type of player to play that role same with Abby on any of the top 6 he's much better on the bottom 6 at what he does best fore checking and being aggressive. Franzen I still don't think he realizes he's playing hockey. Tatar and Nyquist have the necessary skills/talent to play w/similar players on the top 6. I don't know how many times I've seen Zet or Dats make a beautiful play to either Abby or Cleary and they can't handle the pass they just plain out ruin the play turning a scoring chance into nothing. At the very least Bert has the hands to finish and can take feed from either of those two. The line juggling is ridiculous no one has time to mesh one game they do well and the lines still change the next game they do horrid and the lines change. There's no consistency for some of our new players to really settle in and learn to play with their line mates. Our biggest issue by far is the lack of our puck moving defensemen we have broken sloppy plays getting out of our own zone and the turnovers from our so called "vets" are god aweful.

Yey for Gus coming back up booo for Cleary practicing on the first line. When are they gunna wake up and smell the coffee that Cleary is a wasted roster space. Hopefully Gus plays his two games here then we waive Cleary when more forwards get healthy.

Dissociative Identity Disorder is very rare in the mental health field that is actually quite an accomplishment for Mr.Walker and probably the only person to be able to pull that off. Ya don't agree with this call at all either. Stuart even kept his arms tucked in before impact which imo is more important. To say that his head was the primary target is stretching it. There's a hundred hits a week like this and this doesn't stand out among the other ones.

We have no need for Cleary he's been replace. 2. He puts the Wings even more in a hole with too many forwards and even more above the cap. 3. Cleary can't even skate and stay on his feet.

The news of this signing is disgusting I keep thinking I'll wake up and that KH can't be that stupid to bring back Cleary but unfortunately he is. What a slap in the face to our up and coming players.

As of now I expect them to make the playoffs much easier that this past season or at least should, and predicting the playoffs is too much of a crapshoot.

I think its a different situation for Ray Bourgue/Alfi they both haven't won a cup so they have a reason for going to a competative team although I wouldn't put Alfi on our team and automatically consider WIngs contenders just yet. It wouldn't make much sense for Lidstrom who had already won cups with his team to move to another team there would probably a similar backlash due to this fact. I think Sens fans are pissed because he's moving to a team who in all likelyhood have similar chances as us to win the cup. Course who knows if they would still be pissed if he went Bos, Chi, LA, or any other team who have higher expectations. Like others have mentioned there's something going on behind the scenes that Alfi wanted out of Ottawa.

At this point Brunner will be our only option for a top 6 scorer. Guess we'll see how much he's getting. Well at that price for his age I don't like it. His bonuses better be something that he'll have to actually work for.

How do you know we're not at the start of a missing the playoffs? We barely squeaked into the playoffs this year too close for comfort. Will Dats and Zett be able to pull that off in the last week of the season this year or next. Our team never got their s*** together throughout the season and the inconsistencies continued through the playoffs.

Just the opposite they're forced to overpay for a couple players to get over the cap floor reminds me of what Florida Panthers had to do either last season or the year before when they picked up a bunch of free agents and over payed them all to get above the cap.

Funny how these names keep popping up as if they will be playing any time soon. Just because we have having a "youth movement" doesn't everyone is coming up. I doubt we'll see a lot of these players for 5 more years. ( sounded a bit wierd the way it came out but I agree with what you said). I agree with keeping Miller around for the 4th line he's very dependable and strong at what he does for this team. Miller and Brunner are the only two I care about retaining.
