lol... at least I'm not putting words into your mouth. I didn't say I root for the preds I just said I like their team. I'm just saying to me you seem more one sided and closed minded... your telling me that the only team that you like is the Red Wings, and you have no other team that you like? I could care less who ,and if you did like another team that make you unloyal and your not a wings fan because of it. Are you begining to see how absurd your statement is. I never said you weren't loyal to the wings only that your closed minded and don't look out side your own beloved wings thats all I said.

No trust me I said in certain positions Nashville is better its a few pages back and someone quoted me or paraphrased what I said and could have left out that part but still. I do like Nashville there a hard working team, but to question my loyalty just because I say something that could be true about the wings in a "bad" way just because a "lesser" team beat us isn't unloyal. Our team obviously have flaws I don't see us winning the cup this year either, but I still root for them... I just don't understand where your coming from.

You realize that we're tied in the points standings, and at this point in time, the tie breaker goes to us for having more wins, right? sure that would be helpful lets say if the season ended today and the playoffs started.

I have to admit the preds are better than us? Umm, I certainly don't think so. That game in Nashville we dominated. Last nights game, we dominated (except Vokoun played awesome). I refuse to admit that they are better than us until they can beat us in the playoffs...and even then I'll need some real convincing. well I'm sorry to hear that. I guess you'll be in for a suprize if we do play them. Not only is there goaltending better but their star players actually show up for the game and score timely goals.... And how can you say your not a nashville fan? You are one unloyal wings fan if not. Anyways. I agree that our stars do not show up, but come on asking a wings fan to admit that a good team with a great goalie is better than you? No. Lidstrom or Markov (or Erat)? Do you even have to think? If you refuse to see that the wings are a good team despite a few mediocre games, than you'll be in for that "surpise", not me. I know Vokoun can beat us, but that isn't what you asked. You asked wings fans to admit that Nashville is better and their not. I think your blowing what I said out of perportion. I said Nashville is a better team than us in certain positions. Their stong points about their team is certainly stonger than ours. Yes we haver more star players and player to player match up yes we are a better team but that doesn't mean jack. I'm not going to waste my breath trying to persuade you to like Nashville, but you just gotta see outside the box. There are better teams than us out there.

The only aspect that nashville is better than us is goaltending. I'll take Kariya or Sullivan for a clutch goal over any of our forwards. Defense is almost equal as well, the main difference being Lidstrom. see there aspects that help out Nashville I mean hell look at Perreault his face off % is ungodly I doubt Yzermans % is even that high. I mean they just have certain guys that help their team out a lot more than the players we have.

Well said... but I don't have a problem with them being here, but when they start claiming how awesome their team is and how the wings wouldn't stand a "fat chance" of beating them in the playoffs, then it gets kind of annoying. the "fat chance" thing is what I said and I'm not a predators fan I'm a Wings fan... I've believed since the begining of the season that this Nashville team is going to be a solid team. and just because a hockey team doesn't have history behind them or have been in the NHL for years and years Dallas and whomever was mentioned doesn't mean anything. I don't see how past playoff runs have anything to do with today. you have to admit though that this team is better than us... maybe not in every aspect but in a lot of important pieces.

Like I said earlier, these certain predator fans come in here only when they win... didn't catch them in here anyother time before yesterday. And to be honest, I think we have a "fat" (interesting word choice )chance of beating the preds, cuz hey look we played sucky these two games and still were competitive. Look out when we actually bring our A game. I don't undstand how predator fans can work up people so bad when they come in here say a few words then leave.... who cares... and if you don't think yesterdays game as least and some what of todays game (only someone because of all the penalties) wasn't our close to A game then I think your fooling your self. We did play a great game at least yesterday and arguably today (but not so much) and we still didn't beat them.

Then you better start the movement and stop watching them, and stop posting on the site since we already know the ending to this story. well there still a chance another team can beat them and we don't see them in the playoffs... I'm just saying IF, you might have missed that part.

Yeah I think he would have if he didn't commit to his shot so early. If he would have been patient... on both shots. I could care less if it was Ozzy or Legacy the fact is he commited way to early imo

IMO, Chelios, even with the penalties, played a pretty solid game. He is great on the penalty kill. If I am not mistaken, I think he was even the second star of the game. Agree, I still think he's useful for PK's. Just don't use him so much on the 5 on 5 and definatly not on 4 on 4 OT.

I'm sorry but Legacy needs to learn how to stop a damn fast break. Granted its a defensive break down and its the teams fault but jesus Legacy went down way to early and gave the whole up stairs to both Karyia and Sullivan.... He needs to wait longer. just my 2 cents

Interesting concept about him coming here... should make for an interesting summer. Doesn't Lidstrom contract end this year as well. I guess it depends on how much he's asking and whether Liddy is sticking around and take a pay cut.
