Good! Let's see an encore here.
-
Heh, good for Kopecky.
-
The Wild never blow leads. Even scoring first, they rarely lose since Lemaire has been their coach.
-
All the guys look sloppy and lacking in energy. Definitely a byproduct of the back-to-backs.
-
Wings look like they have tired legs.

This was posted in the GDT from last night's game, but belongs here. Wow, it was 20-10 Nashville last time they put a graphic up. Wings really caught up there.
-
You've learned an important lesson: Never leave the bar!
-
Exactly. The Predators in particular have never had a problem handing out questionable hits that left Detroit players limping or being carried off the ice. See Scott Hartnell back in the day.
-
Absolutely. I love the way Lilja plays the game at this point in his career. I have to eat some crow about Lilja. I used to think he was a terrible waste of size, but not anymore. He sacrifices the body to block shots all the time. They really need what he brings.

Hossa got the misconduct for the no tie-down. I love Hossa showing the heart to stick up for a teammate and fight! I don't love Hossa having to be the guy who does it.

!!!!!!!!

God, Maltby is awful.
-
This was a schedule loss. Nothing more.
-
Wild looked gassed on the back end of a back to back. Wings played a solid game. Hudler-Filppula-Hossa was terrific tonight.
-
Sharks have lost 4 of 5 now, eh? Picking up OTL points, but still.
-
Big time dive by Conks. Sammy brutal on the point.
-
What was that?
-
Brutal skating. You have to at least make an effort not to just steamroll the goaltender.
-
Anyone who thinks NBC spent more time on Pittsburgh than Detroit today is out of touch with reality.
-
Great win, surprisingly strong on such quick turnaround. The defensive discipline was excellent and Ty Conklin played a very good game. Loved Hossa and Conks sticking it to the Pens fans with the goal and the shutout. I haven't read through the thread, but I trust we all were quick to point out how Wings-friendly the commentary on NBC was today, right? Today was an absolute slobber-fest by the NBC crew about the Wings and what a great organization they are, Z shutting down Crosby, blah, blah, blah. And I just KNOW that we're not only sensitive when the coverage focuses on the other team, so I'm positive this was heavily discussed....

This was inevitable. It's the salary cap NHL, you're not going to see one team be head and shoulders above all the rest and just run the table. It's not like the era of the Gretzky Oilers or the Trottier Islanders, and even those teams had losing streaks. Hopefully for Wings fans, the Sharks turn it around now and have their first real drought in April or May.

Well someone has to sit to get Tomas Kopecky his minutes!
-
Hudler's playing the best hockey of his life right now. Hard to be too critical of Babs' handling of him when you consider where Hudler's game is at right now. Different roads for different folks and what not, maybe it was good for him.

I don't know! If so, remove the "radical" from my above post
