Here you go.

You guys do know he was shot in Detroit in 1983, right? It's been bad news for our guys with him ever since.
-
That is ridiculous. Whoever shot O'Halloran should have finished the job. Anyway, is this exciting or what????
-
Too many passes, not enough shooting. It's Marty Turco, for Pete's sake. Just throw the puck at him.
-
Brutal. That's one of the worst periods they've played all year.
-
Good timing to call Downey up with the annoying Ott in town. Kronner's been very lacking in the open ice hitting department this season. Maybe having someone to watch his back will liberate him a bit more.
-
Babcock has always loved having tough guys on the roster. I would bet money that when conversations between Babs and Kenny take place, Babs is the one who is more actively interested in dressing a tough guy.
-
Agreed. That's a ridiculous hometown discount, if it's for real. I will be very pleased if this turns out to be accurate.
-
We'll take the point. Coulda been a lot worse.
-
He had a dance invitation from Commodore but declined. A 4th liner needs to take that one for the team.
-
Marian Hossa and Kopecky are close friends, too.
-
They have Kopecky.
-
I can't even talk about Tomas Kopecky. I get too angry and there aren't enough profanities in the English language for me to finish expressing my feelings about him. Man, Meech is playing like this is his first NHL game. He's usually way better than this.
-
I don't like seeing the puck go in from an angle like that. Geez.
-
It won't affect them at all. It will be forgotten after tonight, when we have actual hockey games to talk about. The press is dying for storylines during the break.
-
As I've said on other boards, I don't care about the All Star Game. I'd take tickets to a pre-season game over the ASG. At least in a pre-season game, there's hitting, the teams actually try to stop each other from scoring, and there's the chance of a fight. The ASG is pure folly. So f**k the ASG. GO WINGS!!!
-
It's awesome reading all this stuff. Any doubts that the Wings would be complacent and wouldn't have anything to play for this year have been erased.
-
You know, I was thinking the same thing. It could turn out to be a real motivator for them. When the Patriots went 16-0 last year, people close to Belichick said he was out to send a big FU to the league over the video scandal. I'd like to see the Wings respond the same way, except for the losing in the championship game part, of course.
-
Yeah, Bettman should suspend himself for that absurd omission. Datsyuk, in particular, should get a free, "F**k you" to the NHL for that alone. Bottom line is, the league does a crappy job of promoting players outside of Crosby. And the voting system is a mockery. If the game had some kind of integrity, I could sympathize with the league's position on this. But the ASG is broken and needs fixing. For any player to put this game before his team would be silly.

Well, this is too bad. I hate to see local radio bite the dust in favor of some national programming. I have to admit, I never cared much for the WDFN programming, but it's sad to see these guys lose their jobs. By all accounts, they were good guys who put down roots here and gave something back.

Razor comes up with stuff like this all the time. Multiple times in every game, in fact. I'm surprised so many people don't know about him. I guess it helps having Center Ice to watch Dallas Stars games, but he's been famous for his use of the English language for years. Buccigross has talked about it frequently in his ESPN column.
-
Clearly, as soon as games go from 4-3 scores to 6-5, hockey will become the #1 sport in the United States. That's really what's missing right now. I can't tell you how many times I've watched hockey with novices or casual fans who tell me, "You know, this is kind of fun, but 4-3 is just not enough goals. If the game was 6-5, I'd clear my calendar to sit home and watch NHL hockey." My girlfriend told me that if NHL scoring went up .75 goals per game, we'd never have to fight over the remote control again, because she'd buy $1,000 worth of NHL merchandise, order Center Ice at her house and live and breathe hockey from that moment on.

I'm ecstatic. This is the best news I've heard all day! Granted, I just woke up a couple hours ago, but still.
-
Another slick move by Datsyuk?
-
It would be cool if Forsberg was in the middle of a shift and his ankle or groin fell off right there on the ice. I would laugh so hard.
