There seems to be few 2nd or 3rd gen players in this tournament whos dad was pro level player, Kapanen & Tkachuk, who else?

i dont understand how jake virtanen made it to the canadian team, his only contribution seemed to be providing powerplays to any team that they faced. Taking 2 separate penalties on the same shift takes some effort... 50:33 2 min CAN 18. VIRTANEN Jake Tripping 50:33 2 min CAN 18. VIRTANEN Jake Slashing

I dont know how to react to Muzzin-Gordon hit, id like to blame the player going low after the puck knowing theres another player coming after the puck too and what happens is hard to stop, similar hits happen in the finnish league too where players are going after the puck head first and getting hurt and the player doing the hitting usually gets suspended 1,2 or 3 games...

Maybe Tocchet doesnt want to get fired... But heres the article i forgot to link http://triblive.com/sports/robrossi/9618108-74/penguins-rutherford-lemieux#axzz3uAjE91gp

Heres an article on Pens problems... Apparently its hard to give your bud the boot when hes owners BFF. Look who's still running the power play. That would be Rick Tocchet. He still has a job. Johnston doesn't. Neither does the only assistant he was allowed to hire, Gary Agnew. Tocchet oversees a power play Rutherford believes is like these Penguins (“underachieving”), yet he still is around. “I really like how he communicates,” Rutherford said. The guess here is it's not Tocchet's communication skills but with whom Tocchet can communicate. Tocchet's advantage for keeping his job is obvious: He's a “Friend of Mario.”

How about compromise on the rinksize, like the olympic size rink which is between euro and nhl rink.

Is this Carl Soderberg any good? Hes 6'3 and a swede and detroit has plenty of manlove for swedes... Carl Soderberg's agent, J.P. Barry, has told the Boston Globe his client will not be brought back by the Bruins this off-season. Barry informed the Globe that the Bruins to not plan on pitching a contract offer to his client. The Bruins are battling salary cap issues and GM Don Sweeney appears to be moving in a different direction with Soderberg. Barry told the Globe the Bruins "can't make an offer at this juncture." Soderberg, 29, will become an unrestricted free agent July 1 after his three-year, $3.25 million contract expires. In 82 games with the Bruins this season, Soderberg registered 13 goals and 31 assists for 44 points.
