Looks like officials are there to help canada to win, whether they need help or not.

No penalty when Datsyuk was boarded?
-
Raanta is my fave goalie since he played for the local team and lead it to championship...

Gallagher from montreal canadiEns has scored few goals like that, surprisingly they have been allowed. against the wings, obviously.

If scored by canadiens player it would have been a goal...

Team Canada looks just ridiculous. It should be forbidden to have so much talent on one team. At least forbid them to have a healthy Price in net to give the other teams some resemblance of a chance.
Canada has over 700k registered hockey players, USA has over 500k surprisingly Czech Republic also has over 100k registered players, those 3 nations are the only ones
breaking the 100k barrier, russia is close with 99k, rest of the hockey playin' nations are not even close to 100k barrier.
By those statistics the top countries are obvious...

I hope the sharks bite the penguins lifeless.

Besides Tarasenko, STL doesnt have a lot of firepower, but Sharks have plenty of firepower for 2 or 3 lines.
-
So wait... there's 2 Sebastian Ahos?
Isn't there a Swedish defenceman with the same name?
Looks like it, http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=67208

Aho was already drafted last year.
Yea, Aho is the not getting the same praise so ive kinda forgotten him...

Patrik Laine 1st round pick yea?
Depends, do maple laughs need a center or a winger?
Aho and Puljujärvi could be high picks too.

Wow, Can took 2-0 lead in the 1st, then USA scores 3 2nd period in a row for the lead...

Good job by the Fins. They do play very dirty though, I couldn't even keep count with all the slashes and crosschecks that weren't called. We get to see Laine again on Sunday, very nice.
As for how Sweden did compared to Finland, I'd say they are.. Exactly were they were supposed to be, out at the quarter finals, regardless who they were to face there. Not very good.
What? Like the russkies didnt hack and wack equally, not mention dives by Ovechkin to draw a penalty for Barkov, and ridiculous "injury" that the russian faked.
