See if anyone remebers this... This actually occurred in a Wings game against the Blues a few years ago... near the end of the regular season, before the lockout I think. The Blues came down the ice, scored, but the ref didn't call it a goal and play went on, even tho the Blues players on-ice began to celebrate. The Wings sent it down Ice, and the Blues marched right back up the ice, and put the puck in the net AGAIN. They went up stairs to review it, and saw that the first goal was actually a goal, and they reset the clock. It was pretty neat to see.

Good call, I was just going by his player page, which stated he had only been sit down. Regardless, I puff puff pass on him.

He did use his body last night, mostly his forearm. I've never really seen him lay a clean dead on body check, he does play the body a bit. I'm not trying to bash him at all, I like him (and was actually pleasantly surprised to not see him on the PP unit last night) and thought he played well. Regardless, I think my earlier line combos wouldn't hurt. Examples? Aside from Kozzie?

I don't think thats correct. If I'm remembering correctly and understanding you, he was sent down? He can only be claimed for 1/2 his salary when he gets called back up and placed on waivers. Edit: I just checked, he was indeed sent down. This does not mean he can sign with any team. If he ever gets called back up from Peoria, the Blues must place him on waivers and then he can be claimed for half price. But I'd pass on him, we don't have room for him anywhere, except maybe the 4th line.

Dude, it was his first breakaway shot, really. The puck rolled on him, it happens. Dats has moves and will use them, but there's no reason to do it every single chance he gets. He looked like himself last night IMO. Lots of chances and slick. It's okay to mix it up.
