lol yeah thats how people are here on this board. Never pleased.

Id keep Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Holmstrom together. These guys rocked it out. IF we are having trouble scoring goals, and our other lines arent clicking, then split them up. Probably put Bert up there with Dats.

I actually think this series is gonna come down to coaching. Babs has more expierience with his team, than Playfair does (since I do believe this is his first year with the Flames). Its gonna come down to who can put who on the ice at the right time, and match which lines up against the opposing teams lines. That, and for motivation/pep-talk sort of thing. And I think Babcock is a good coach, and definatley has the edge over Playfair.

(in Borats voice) VERY NICE!!!

Wanna hear something crazy? I'm about 6', and since I graduated high school in 2004 I weighed 130lbs (yes, 1-3-0). Just the other month I jumped on the scale (dont do it to often) and I weighed in at 140lbs!! Happiest day of my life!! Haha. Yeah Im skinny, and tall. I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and never put on weight. Which is great and all, but I should hit the gym and try to pack on a few pounds. And change my diet a bit. So I dont blow away in the wind. This thread has gaven me some insight and inspiration lol. Good luck to Legionnaire!

Im sure you can find tickets, but you'll have to pay. A lot.

That may be true, but Radulov could work out nicely for them. Only time will tell.

Wasnt your argument that Nashville cant draft for s***? They drafted this guy, did they not?

Well said my friend. Anyone have any links to good Flames message boards?? Always like to check out what the other team is saying about us.
-
Exactley what I was saying. This year, Dastyuk will be a much different player in the postseason than what everyone has seen. He is 100% healthy and on fire right now.
-
I cant wait until friday.

Very nice, but the max size is 400x100. Not be the forum police or anything, but the mods are eventually gonna get ya I say this series goes to seven games. I have a feeling we will have a very tough time winning in Calgary.

But if you were born in russia, youd know that big contracts exist! -

Datsyuk could have got that elsewhere in the league. Probably not a 7 year term, but he would have got that money from ssome other team. -
Yeah, I suppose that may have something to do with it lol.

I heard the same thing on CBC. Kinda strange if you ask me. But heres to a good series :beerbuddy:

Sadley I wont be able to watch the last game of the season. But lets finish the regular season out with a win!! GO WINGS!!!
-
Your probably right. Datsyuk is all ours for the next 7 years, and that can be a very good thing or a bad thing. Right now, seems to be a good thing with the way he is playing.
-
I dont know why everyone is so worried about Datsyuk not showing up in the playoffs. Last season he was injured, the years before that we was younger and unexperienced. I think we will see a different Pavel this year in the playoffs. I loved the way he played in the third period against Chi-town. He just seemed like a different Datsyuk, but different in a way better way.
-
Some of my concerns: 1. Zetterberg. He is a very key part to our success. We need him going 100% strong along with Pavel. And this back injury wont seem to just go away. But I have a sneaky suspision the Wings are just being extra cautious, and he will be ready to go for game 1. Still, it worries me a lot. 2. Calgary. It seems we are going to play them in the first round, and this scares the crap out of me. Since Calgary is not so good on the road, we MUST win every home game. Playing in their building is going to be very tough, they are very good at home and the Canada fans are NUTS of course.

IMO, Maltby could re-sign for a lot less than what he is making now. Schnieder might take a small cut too. Both of these guys are getting up there in age, and they know their game is slowly on the decline. BUT, I could live without Malts. It would just be weird seeing him in another jersey lol. But he is replacable, and he dosent do much other than bring energy and a little grit. He sure as hell dont bring goal scoring. I could live without Markov too. And Im about 99% sure Lang will be gone. Lebda can step up and take a bigger role, I like this guy a lot. Kronwall will obviously be around (unless he gets injured AGAIN of course). We need to keep Bert and Calder and I think the Wings will do all they can to sign them. Hasek could very well retire after this season, especailly if we do win the cup. But not like his contract is a problem anyway. If he does, its Howard/Osgood next season.

Yeah, Langs done. Hopefully.
