I have a feeling Bert and the Wings are gonna be patient with bringing him back, and Bert will be ready to go 110% when playoff time rolls around. I have a feeling he'll be excited and hungry to play again, and the playoffs can only add fuel to the fire.

I doubt that they wont reach a deal... And even if it does come down to a trade, he wont be coming here. But yes he would be a great addition to the team.

Yeah... And I dunno about you guys, but I'm tired of running into hot goalies in the first round. Not only that, but Luongo is one of the best in the league anyway...

Like to have him back, but he is replaceable. No need to rush him back in the lineup and risk injuring him again. And Williams is better than Kopecky, without a doubt.

I was gonna quote the same thing Barrie. Guys, Holland isnt an idiot, give him a break. IMO I'd rather not trade for any of the guys on the list in that article. Guerin is past his prime and on the downslope, and Nolan is kinda the same deal. Betuzzi... well maybe, but I really dont like the guy. Even though he is what we need. I'd rather not trade away a great prospect (Flips, Huds, Kindl, Kronwall, etc) or high draft picks (which we desperatly need to keep youth in the system) for a past-his-prime player, who may help us just for this season then be gone the next.

Just because the Flyers are last in the league in standings, dosent mean they have been playing like it lately. With Forsberg back in the line-up, this seems to be a different team. Anyway, after that 5 on 3 it was over. I'm not really blaming Joey for many of the goals (except for Umbergers(SP?)). We hung him out to dry. Flyers played a strong physical game and they flat out beat us. IMO this is a sign... we NEED to add some size/grit before the trade deadline. Oh well, on to Dallas we go...

Yep they said it... Flyers have surprised me thus far. They are playing physical and their PK has been very good. We just have to keep plugging away and I think we will get this one.

I as well will keep watching hockey no matter what station in comes on. But for the other people, who are not the die hard fans such as here at LGW, if they dont have versus, or even know what versus is, they wont even bother with watching hockey. Thats why ESPN would help the ratings greatly. Almost everyone, who has a basic cable package, has ESPN. If they are flipping through the channels, they just might stop at the hockey game that is on. Half the people I talk to dont even know what the hell versus is. Put hockey on ESPN, and ratings will go up. But oh well, guess it wont happen for a while now.
