So THATS why his head never seems to be in the game, he's always blogging in the GDT!
-
Why the hell was this done now and not before 7/1?
-
With the relationship that Osgood has with the organization and the city I would say he would have his number taken out of circulation, at the very least.

The days of 7-6 games in the NHL are back!

Will Datsyuk/Zetterberg become a PPG player this year?

:whoa: Please don't mention that, the last thing we need is a burnt out team like 06 again..... -
Obligatory forward lines thread for next season

Sammy isn't that bad, there are plenty of teams where he could be a top six forward and probably get 25+goals, he will just never get that type of ice time here in Detroit.....Sort of like the situation Mike Knuble was in, but of course none of us knew he could have been a 30 goal scorer. -
This won't help you with your answer, but instead of starting another thread I'll just post this here..... Has anyone heard anything about that rumored switch back to the old material.....or did they already do it during the regular season. I could have sworn I heard that RBK was planning another switch due to complaints.

Red Wings To Play Blackhawks In Winter Classic
redwings1914 replied to RedWingsFanatic's topic in General
Well if Wirtz were still alive I would imagine prices would easily top $1000 FACE, but I would imagine that face value will probably be around $120 for a right field box seat. -
....Just don't play the puck Ty!

Fail...partially, Shanahan left because he sensed a change was going on and he didn't want to be a cancer to the identity change, be assured that if Yzerman did not retire that year he would have most likely returned. Also Shanahan was offered two simular contracts with Detroit and New York, the Detroit contract would have paid him more. (IIRC about $500,000 more a year) Trust me the Wings more than fully tried to sign him, he just felt it was time to move on. I even remember him saying that he would love to play in Montreal, but they didn't offer him a deal, so I think that knocks out the glamour style. If Montreal would have offered he would have been in a Habs jersey I assure you.

That new vaunted D just dropped a tad.
-
He can look but he can't touch lol
-
So do you guys think this is a one and done or could we potentially lock him up long term next year too?
-
Makes Stuart look even more like a steal.
-
I forsee a trade most likely Meech/Lebda/Quincey for straight up picks.
-
Holy. s***. Although this looks like a one and done type thing, unless the cap goes up again next year about $4 million
-
I doubt with the market this year he will get less than $5 million, which I would say is out of our price range.
-
I would rather have Zetterberg and Franzen than Michael fricken Ryder.
-
They are now 1.8 million over the cap....Bulin will be had for a steal.
-
According to NHL Network......its far from the $8 million that we offered him in the past..
-
Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor would have been nice, but his career is more than done unfortunatly.
-
6.5 million per year over six years. EDIT--Perhaps this takes them out of Sundin and Hossa, Jagr too. EDIT 2-Clarification

Igor Larionov? And if I am correct who is the youngest player to ever have his name on the Cup?
