Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State are in the CCHA while Wisconsin and Minnesota are in the WCHA.....I believe the BTN is allowed to show the games because there is no Big Ten hockey league and they are obligated to air X amount of hours of each collegiate sport.

Babcock said that he liked how he was in the playoffs with his work ethic and puck movement, but he was saying that his spot on the team will not be handed to him in camp, but he will have to fight for it with the other young guys, and that if none of them seem good enough that they would add another defenseman at that tme.

Horrible news, the franchise would have done 10 fold as better in Hamilton but I guess the good news in all of this is that we get to strengthen our historic rivalry with them....

Mixed feelings about Tootoo, watching last nights game I thought that his "running" after Schnieder was great, not for the dirtiness but just because Schenider was able to retaliate for it and it was just as impressive as Tootoo's hit. Tootoo definitly ratched up this "rivalry" a little bit more last night, and if we're forced to play these guys 8 times a year, it wouldn't bother me........as long as the games were like last nights.

19 days I dont think that geography would have any implications on this at all, after all, it would be a matchup of 2 of the most storied programs ever....imagine if Miami/Florida/Florida State was a NC game. If the computers say that Mich/them are the two best teams in the country even after they played each other, then it will be a Mich/them BCSCG.

Michigan 13 Notre Dame 10. Thats my prediction......If Michigan keeps it low scoring they're gonna pull it out....Not too sure if we can win it in a shootout. Hypothetically if we went undefeated we would have one hall of a lock on the BCS 1 spot.
