I'm not trying to start any debate, so chill out. All I said is it was a bit of a weak goal, and gave Dallas momentum. Relax. The entire team needs to pick it up, that satisfy you enough?
-
I'm not blaming only Dom here, but he should have had the first goal they scored on him. Bad time to let that kind of goal in, and it changed the momentum of the game back to the Stars. I just hope we pull this one out, I do not want to see the game lost after how the boys have dominated them.

And I'm sure the Preds fans are all jumping off of bridges right about now They all wanted Dallas to beat us so badly tonight, and want Columbus and Chicago to do the same, just so they can all rub it in if they take the division. At this point though, I'd rather play Dallas in the 1st round, just because of how we're playing them right now.
-
Just so long as they don't look tired tomorrow night against the Preds.
-
Yeah, what you said there does make sense. Let's just hope that it is minor, and he will be back sooner rather than later.
-
That's what I wasn't sure of.
-
DAMN! What a save by Dom!

Yikes. I hope Kronner is alright, I hate seeing another player go down, especially when he was just getting healthy again. It was his right leg and had no pressure on it at all, which makes things look very bad. I'm stuck with the damn Dallas announcers, so I can't win at this point. Saying that Lundqvist "crushed" Kronner behind the net, and they want to see more of it. So since it seems he may be out for awhile, does someone get called up from GR?

At least you can give Ozzie credit for playing a great game last night. It's nice to see that you don't use the excuse of having injured players as the reason why they didn't beat the Wings last night. Trotz had mentioned something about he'd like to see the healthy team play the Wings, but using injuries as an excuse is just weak, IMO. You're definitely one of the most informed Preds fans, and it's rather refreshing. I enjoy seeing your posts in the GDTs and such, because you know what you're talking about.

Yet another excuse, from Legwand this time. In a strange twist from yesteryear, the Wings' tough defensive tactics also had the Predators complaining that they weren't getting enough calls from the officials. "There was an awful lot of clutching and grabbing going on out there,'' Predators center David Legwand said. "It looked like the old NHL out there. But in the playoffs, that's what we're going to have to work through.'' http://www.tennessean.com/apps/pbcs.dll/ar.../703300447/1028

See, just for certain ones saying they don't know why Babs went with Ozzie, this is just for you. Osgood was sharp on Thursday, stopping 24 shots to lead the Wings to a 2-1 victory over the Nashville Predators at the Gaylord Entertainment Center. And he's been sharp most of the season, despite injuries and infrequent appearances. Osgood is 3-0-1 vs. the Predators this season and has earned his team at least one point in his last 10 starts (6-0-4). "We pay him, eh? We expect that," coach Mike Babcock said. "He's got 300-some wins, he's an NHL goalie, he's won the Stanley Cup. Every time he plays good it's like a surprise. He's played way better this year than last year. He's had to adjust to a different role last year (as the backup). He's a great teammate, as good a teammate as there is in hockey." http://www.mlive.com/redwings/stories/inde....xml&coll=1

Yeah, I was just going to comment on that. Sore losers anyone? I mean, nevermind admitting that you got beat by the better team, or that Ozzie was outstanding. No, it was because they weren't "healthy" enough. Sounds like they need to stop using a piss poor excuse like that and just admit that the Wings were the better team. Even Flopper is running his mouth, which doesn't surprise me. Not that anyone is making excuses, but several Predators pointed out they were short-handed with five forwards out -- four to injuries including Steve Sullivan (back). Forsberg, who played nearly 22 minutes, said they tried to battle despite running low on forwards and are frustrated at not having control in their own hands. "We have to rely on Detroit losing two points, and we go undefeated. It was two huge points we lost today," he said. http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/recap?gid=2007032927&prov=ap

Great stuff, made me laugh right before bed.
-
Uh huh. And Ozzie doesn't get a star for the game he had...jealous bastards.
-
Atta boy Oz! Way to keep those bastards without any points.
-
What bulls*** that call was. Vokoun sold that one, and the refs definitely bought it. There they go again throwing their stupid fish on the ice.
-
Yup, even Mason was saying that he "has just been lucky back there tonight". Nothing like extreme jealousy much eh? I'm so glad I don't have to listen to these morons anymore after tonight, I can't stand them.
-
Here they go with Ozzie again, even Mason says Ozzie has just "gotten lucky" tonight. These morons said that "Osgood has been lucky tonight" Get over yourselves already and give him credit for his huge saves.
-
Even Kronner knew he dove to get the call. What a joke that was.
-
Fiddler looked like he wanted to fight Markov, how hilarious is that one? I mean, come on tough guy...and the stupid announcers laugh at him.
-
Now that is a great idea. These guys are awful. Now Bert "embellished" that call, because Legwand was "standing completely still, and Bertuzzi ran smack into him" Give me a f***en break.
-
Ugh. Now they play a bunch of Preds players Mic'd up, like anyone wants to tolerate listening to that. I can't wait for Ken and Mickey tomorrow night, so much easier on the ears.
-
Weber is a tough guy now too, going after Flipper at the whistle. I can't wait to see their team taken out of the playoffs.
-
That's exactly what I said too. Can't give Ozzie credit for making huge saves, and yet basically explode all over themselves when Vokoun makes any routine save. There they go again, saying that "Osgood just barely got his glove on it" I hate these guys.
-
Flopper running over Oz after the whistle. Stupid prick. Someone take that diver out please?
