But the Blues announcers saying that Lebda turned into it? I highly doubt he would have done something like that, knowing he could be more seriously hurt doing that. I hate these announcers almost more than I do the ones for Nashville.

I'm stuck with the stupid Blues announcers, yuck. They said Nieminen went to the hospital to check on Lebda, said that Nieminen didn't mean to hurt him and that Lebda turned his back on him.

Is Lebda alright? I was at my Aunt's house, and just now read that he left on a stretcher. At least they threw Nieminen out of the game for it. What the hell happened anyways?

I don't know what it is with the team lately. I mean, the last 3 games now, they're just playing like they don't care. I don't know if it's because they know they're going to be in the playoffs, or they just don't care to gear it up for these games. Something Redmond mentioned, they always seem to play down to teams that are under .500. If they can't get the effort and energy for teams like this, then I really don't want to see what it's gonna look like come playoff time. I'm far from panic right now, guess it's just frustration on my part. We all know the guys are more than capable of playing way better than they have been, and yet they just don't. Ozzie played IMO his best game this season, and yet the rest of the team(aside from Dats and a couple others) doesnt' show up to play.They're lucky to even have gotten a point out of that one, thanks to Oz. And Lang...he should just stay as far away from his own net as possible. That is way too many times now that he's been a direct result of a goal being scored on his own team. I can't wait til he is gone this offseason, should be seeing less IT too. Ozzie should start against the Blues, but seeing how he played so well, Babcock will probably go right back to Dom again. It definitely wouldn't hurt to let Oz start again, and then play Dom the next game.

Need a win tonight, especially with the Preds losing last night. And they play tonight as well, so we need to win and they need to lose. I'll be pulling for Calgary to win tonight, in regulation. Let's go Wings. Can't wait to see Bert tonight.

I'd rather see Vancouver win the game. I hate Nashville with a passion, and do not want them to win. Hopefully the Preds will have as many penalties called against them as the Wings did, that way it's almost a sure bet that they lose.

Babs called Hasek out because that embellishment cost the Wings 2 points. Was it entirely Dom's fault they lost? No. But that one mistake stood out, and I guess that was the reason for Babcock to mention it. Dom has done things like that before, and it's come back to bite him in the ass, but it's not mentioned by Babcock every time it happens. The guys need to start scoring some goals, and stop with the perimeter shots like in the playoffs. I swear I was watching the playoff series all over again last night, and that's just not cool. Hopefully they get back on track against Columbus, and being at home should certainly help alot. I'm not one to blame just the officials for losses, but the past five games we've only had 16 PPs compared to 32 for the opposing teams. That's kinda ridiculous if you ask me, and I know the team is not THAT undisciplined. Some of the penalties were legit, but how Calagry got away with only one penalty on them is beyond me. Hopefully the guys score more tomorrow night, and we can be back in 1st place. Should be no way they can't score 4 or 5 times against Columbus. One more thing. I've had it with these refs. Why is it that Calgary hasn't gotten ONE single penalty called on them? I hate it. Not using it as an excuse, but it's gotten beyond ridiculous now. Hopefully the boys can get another goal or two, and keep them away from Dom. Have to partially fault Dom on that 2nd goal, had he been on his skates, it wouldn't have gone in, but he's kept the guys in the game.

Why is it this team seems like they don't want to win this game either? I don't know what it is, but every single time they go into western Canada, they get completely outplayed. They're lucky to only be down one goal right now. Should be a couple of calls coming their way, seeing how Calgary has had 3 straight already now. You do some research genius. We're missing alot of our guys right now, so it's not just "a top goal scorer" Wow. You're missing two defensemen, BFD. Look at our injuries and then try telling me that Vancouver has more injuries than Detroit right now.

Bulls***. It's not an excuse when half of them called on the Wings weren't even legit. And the same things Detroit got called for, they let go when Vancouver did them. I wouldn't get too excited over this win, Wings were nowhere near being healthy. So congrats on beating our Griffins team.

It's not just this game though. Both games against Nashville were just as bad, if not worse when it comes to the BS penalty calls against us, with Nashville getting away with just about everything.
