I'd hardly call it a ***** shot from Malts. He bumped him after the whistle, no big deal really. Torres and the Oilers don't like being hit or bumped into, they need to get over it. I hate Torres, and he just keeps proving more and more why I do. I hope someone does end his season, even better if they do it with a hit to his head, see how he likes it. Oiler fans are just as bad, if not worse than their team. Always crying about the refs giving us the game, or how Kronner should be suspended, or how the Wings are all throwing cheap shots now. I hate the Oiler fans. Lang got dropped to the 4th line. About time too. Maybe he won't see hardly any more IT this game.

Once they showed the replay of Kronner rocking Lupul, his one skate was still on the ice, so he didn't completely leave his feet. Of course all the Oiler fans want him suspended now, but when Torres did it, it was a perfectly clean hit. Someone youtube that please. Turning it into an avatar would be even better.

Dirty hit by Neil. It should have been a minor penalty, and as much as I hate Melrose, I agreed with what he said last night. Murray should have known that something was going to be done in response, and taken his skill players off the ice. Sure, Ruff could have thrown out Peters and Mair later on too, but you can't take out a star player and not expect some kind of answer for it. Buffalo did the right thing by sticking up for Drury. They could have tried to injure one of the Ottawa players, but didn't. Mair had ahold of Spezza, and both Comrie and Volchenkov skated over and got involved in that. They both could have gotten penalties for being a 3rd man in, even though it wasn't really a fight. If you're already tied up with one guy, you don't expect 2 other players to come over and try to jump you. I loved seeing that brawl as a hockey fan, and should be interesting to see if anything happens tomorrow night. Hopefully no one will get injured during the game though.

Just chipping this in here...a Pens fan on hfboards posted this, and I thought it was interesting concerning Tkachuk. This guy talked to Phil Bourque, who is one of the radio announcers for the Pens, and here is what he had to say about Guerin and Tkachuk. http://stooshff.blogspot.com/2007/02/after...h-old-29er.html Not sure if that's true about Tkachuk, but if it is then there is no way I'd want to see him become a Wing. I'd rather Holland not trade for him anyhow, but even more so if that is true.

Actually, espn.com has them listed as 23rd on the PK. They are also 4th on the PP. They've got a lethal PP going right now, and if they get another defensemen, then I can't see that being a problem area for them any longer. Fleury has stood on his head for that team, and a major reason why they won as many games as they did during their streak. They may very well surprise alot of people in the playoffs, especially if Fleury gets hot. We all know how hard it is running into a hot goaltender in the playoffs.

I didn't catch that one, but why would you say such a thing on a televised game? Which announcer was it that said it anyhow? I could have sworn that later on during the game I heard one of them say something to the extent of "the Wings are getting r*ped by the Flyers right now" I couldn't believe my ears when I heard that comment. Whoever the other announcer was with Doc needs to not see another game as an announcer for a comment like that one.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if he did. Need someone to smash his face in like Boogard did to him earlier this season, just because I never liked him. Then again, I hate the entire Flyers team. I don't believe that we're not only going to lose to the Flyers, but get it handed to us in the process. It's almost like the guys just said the hell with it and stopped what little effort was there to begin with. Mac should have had the 3rd goal, and the first one looked like he should have hung onto the rebound. He's been fighting the puck all night, and even the announcers picked up on that one early on. I can't wait for Ozzie and Dom to get back from their injuries, hell I'd rather see Jimmy play at this point. I'm so pissed right now.

For some reason, I hate Eager and the pylon Hatcher. Doesn't like it so much when someone feeds him a stick, and of course Schneids gets nailed for it when Hatcher didn't. Eager says "they got nothing boys" and somehow we only got credit for one hit and I've seen more than that. You've got to be ******* kidding me. Trying to give the Cryers the game. I hate listening to these announcers, especially the one guy.

Sad. Absolutely no effort until the 3rd period again. I was just telling my girlfriend the other night that they couldn't keep playing like that and then expecting to win the 2 points in the 3rd, and sure enough they paid for it tonight. Unf***ingbelievable.

Joey's been better tonight, but that last rebound was very bad and lucky it didn't end up in the net behind him. That being said, the boys need someone to lay into them, maybe get their heads out of their behinds and put some effort into the next game. I ******* hate the Blues.

There is no way in hell I'd continue to watch this team if Holland gets Todd cheapshot Bertuzzi. What he did to Moore was probably the worst thing you can do to another guy, and he had zero remorse for it after it happened. There is no way I'd want to see him on this team, and hopefully Holland doesn't sign him. Let him stay in Florida golfing.

It was a brutal call. And it was Ballard that went into him...could see it coming though because Phoenix took lessons from their coach with the whining...complained about Homer enough and he got nailed for doing absolutely nothing.
