I'm not sure why exactly, but I did feel physically sick to my stomach when they scored. I laid down and tried to sleep, but all I could do was lay there because I was so pissed off. I knew when the ref called Huds for the 4 minute minor that the Wings were not going to win the game. I was hoping they could come up with the PK, but they were just too tired at that point. It'll be made up for if the Wings can win the Cup tomorrow night though, and see all the Penguins fans and their players sheding tears.

Dude. It's a board for Wings fans, if you don't like what you read in Detroit newspapers, then don't surf the sites. They are entitled to their opinions, just like Pittsburgh writers are theirs. You don't see anyone starting a pointless thread just to bash a writer for what is their opinion.

Just when we all thought NBC couldnt't get any worse with their Crosby slurping, alas. I'm so sick of hearing anything that has to do with him, and sick of everything somehow turned to focus even more on him. -

Can anyone do something with the movie Million Dollar Baby? Of course it would only be appropriate for it to be Crosby himself. -
I'd love to see your reaction if it was Helm or another Wings player that did that to your Million Dollar Baby Crosby. They would have been thrown out of the game and probably suspended too.

I would laugh so hard if an octopus got anywhere near him, but there would have to be pictures of it. They wouldn't dare post pictures online of such a dastardly deed. :angel: That would be just priceless though.

Funny thing is the Golden Boy left the ice to make that hit. Waiting to hear Penguin fans defend that one. -
So I was reading and came across this from Ryan Malone: The Pittsburgh Penguins are well aware of the damage he can do catching an unsuspecting puck-carrier with his head down in the neutral zone. Ryan Malone suggested a targeted player get his elbow and stick up to counter Kronwall, when the teams meet in the Stanley Cup finals. "You have to have your head up and be ready. If your elbows get up quick enough, you have to protect yourself also," Malone, the 6-4, 224-pound Penguins forward, said during a conference call Wednesday. "If by accident your stick gets up a little bit, maybe he learns his lesson. If it's a clean hit, then there is no reason to get your elbow or stick up in his face. I can't wait to see Kronner derail on of the Penguins with a big hit.

Malone doesn't seem to think that they are dirty. Alot of times he leaves his feet after he delivers the hit, so they look worse than they are. -

Dom is done for the season. Ozzie has made excellent saves all series long, and kept games close or tied when needed. Last night, the game could have been 4-3 or even tied had Oz not made some big saves in the 3rd alone. Get the puck one way or another? Good luck to the Pens with that one, the Wings love playing with the puck, so get used to it. Your boys are going to have circles skated around them, and then the frustration will set in, led by Captain Kid. Fleury doesn't seem to like people around his crease, we'll see how long it takes for him to get rattled and lose his cool with Homer Cleary and Franzen(if he plays) in his face. -

Wouldn't even be worth it to register there, even if anyone could. Alot of that is homerish BS, and apparently not too many have actually watched Wings games. Oh well, guess they'll find out soon enough if the Wings are to be "feared".

Pittsburgh kills themselves with giveaways in the neutral zone. I know it was an empty net and all, but tonight is not the only game they've done it in. The Wings will pick them apart in that aspect, not that they need any help or anything. Malkin seems culprit on alot of those, so that's probably something the Wings pay attention to.
