Pure luck? What game were you watching? And as for the Homer goal, it is not illegal for players to be in the blue paint. Turco was at the top of his crease, and was right up against Homer, even had his glove on Homer's back. The puck was already on the way into the net when Homer's skate went into the crease, so I don't want to hear that Homer "kept Turco from making the save." How many times have the Wings had a goal called back on BS goalie interference calls? Too many to count. I've seen alot more blatant goalie interference than that, and it didn't have any affect on the outcome of the game, so it doesn't matter at this point. It's just an excuse for Tippett to direct focus away from how badly his team sucked. Edit: If you weren't being serious, then just ignore my defending of the Homer goal.

Someone has to do one with the movie Crybaby, only use Tippett instead, especially after his postgame comments.

Cry me a freaking river Tippett. Crying about how the 3rd goal by Homer shouldn't have counted. "When a player is in the blue paint, the goal shouldn't have counted". "Marty wasn't given the chance to make the save, and we were told that when a player is in the blue paint, the goal will not count, obviously that didn't happen". Blah blah blah. Maybe you should focus on how badly your team sucked it up, and not about a "harsh" penalty call on that 5 on 3 PP for the Wings. The Wings were the better team, plain and simple.

I wanted to see either Homer or Franzen "accidentally" run into Turco. He popped Helm in the face and got away with it, though it seemed the refs swallowed the whistles towards the end of the game. Either way, Turco still can not chase his demons at JLA. Let's see if the Wings can't chase him during game 2.

Funny how Ott starts the cheap shots when he knows the game is over with. Maltby knocked him to the ice though, which was good to see. Kronner with another 2 monster hits, and of course according to Eddie O he "left his skates". Wasn't off his skates until after he hit whichever Stars player it was. The VS crew is just sour because they want Dallas to beat the Wings, and it didn't work tonight.

I don't remember where now, but earlier today I did read that Kronner is not out for revenge at all. He said that if he hits Lundqvist, that it's just part of the game tonight, and that he holds no grudge for the hit that took him out last season.

Let's see which one of the Stars is daring enough to scoop up the octopus. I'm hoping one of them will, seeing how the curse has worked magic so far.

It looked "dirty" because of Foote being close to the boards like that, besides I'm sure Foote will do something that makes that look like nothing. Should have been a penalty? Yes. Dirty? Don't think so. Dives get away with plenty, so the Wings just got away with one to even it out. Only thing is, Flip(or whoever) will probably be injured by Foote in retaliation.

It's such BS. Bettman is trying to tell Wings fans how they can and can't celebrate the playoffs? Ha! I think he needs to concern himself with other things, but he's making himself look like an idiot by taking a shot at one of the biggest and most loyal fan bases in the league.
