Now someone has got to photoshop a pic to make it look like Arnott is jumping infront of the train. Seeing how his own player took him out last night celebrating a goal, and I have the perfect picture:

I got a better look at it, and he didn't leave his skates completely until after he hit them, and they were both going to the ice. It was almost identical to the Sarich hit on Marleau, so I have no problem with it. Edit: Just realized it's already been posted twice.

I honestly can't see why anyone would complain about Kronner laying monster hits like that. Sure, he may have left his skates last night, but honestly who cares? I believe a certain Preds player does it 99% of the time when he hits, and you never hear about him being suspended for any of them. Point is, Tootoo and most of the other Preds play dirty, so why not give it back to them a little? And it's not like the hit by Kronner last night was super dirty either, personally I'm glad we have someone who isn't afraid to put them on their backs, make sure they know if they come across the Wings zone, they'd better keep their heads up.

Thanks. I figured I'd make fun of Arnott, seeing how he is supposed to be a leader for them.

I'm sorry, but I hate seeing Radulov score. His celebrations make me want to see one of the Wings punch him right in his head:

Trotz and Poile need to stop crying about the refs being out to get them in the series. Maybe focus on your captain taking more than 1 shot, or your top guys not scoring. I'm sure Nashville will get away with plenty of penalties the next couple of games, seeing how much whining has been done so far. Poile peeved Nashville general manager David Poile vented about the officiating between periods. "The winning goal (by Henrik Zetterberg Thursday) was offsides. I've seen that play a thousand times and it's blown dead every time,'' Poile said. "(Tomas) Holmstrom, he's got his foot in the crease (on Nicklas Lidstrom's second-period goal Saturday). (Referee) Kerry Fraser's right there. "Just make the right call. Between officials and supervisors, we can't get the right call.'' http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index....ios_makes.html

Still no video of it? Damn, I wanted to see a Pred player get leveled too.
-
I didn't see the hit, but Kronner isn't a dirty player by any means. I'm sure it was accidental that his elbow even made contact with the Preds player.
-
Any video of the Kronner hit? I'm sure nhl.com won't have it up, and I'd love to see it.
-
What was this hit Kronner had? I didn't see much of the game, looked like the Wings were playing physical for awhile, always good to see.

Wow. That's just gross.

I would attempt one, but I only have Paint, so it would probably be horrible. Besides, I did one already and nobody made mention of it. Awful of an attempt as it was. Edit: This isn't a photoshop job, but I thought it was appropriate, seeing how they like to throw catfish down in Nashville and all. The octopus is eating the catfish

Just hope it's not Leggo and Peel for any of the games, last game they reffed between the teams, Stevie got thrown out of the game.
-
To get ready for the series, I figured I would post this. Maybe a sign of things to come if things get nasty early on?

That's just so wrong, funny but wrong. Tarnishing that cartoon that way

Just a look at things from Nashville's perspective, or their newspaper anyway: WHY THE PREDS WILL WIN Here's a look at some of the Predators' other strengths, as they ready for the Red Wings: Goaltending The Predators' play in net for the most part has been a strength down the stretch. It remains to be seen how goalie Dan Ellis will respond to his first playoff series, but his recent 233:39 shutout streak has to be encouraging. Penalty-killing The Predators finished the season by going seven straight games without allowing a power-play goal, and they wound up tied for the league's third-best penalty-killing success rate (85.4 percent). The Predators have helped their cause by staying out of the box; they have faced just 10 power plays in the past five games. Those numbers could be critical vs. a Red Wings power play that finished as the NHL's fourth-best. "I think the biggest improvement lately has been our discipline,'' defenseman Dan Hamhuis said. "We're not taking as many penalties.'' Dealing with pressure The Predators spent a large chunk of the season on the border of playoff position, turning almost every game into a battle for survival. "Right now we're finding ways to win and that's part of it if you're going to be successful,'' Coach Barry Trotz said. "We're handling the pressure of competing. We've had a lot of big games, and that's something you have to go through – you can't work on that in practice.'' WHY THE PREDS WILL LOSE Here are some areas where the Predators don't look so good heading into the playoffs: Power play The Predators' power play has been bad for most of the season and the team finished with the league's fourth-worst success rate (14.8 percent). Over the past seven games, the Predators were just 1-for-24 with the man advantage, and those numbers need to be better for a team that could have difficulty scoring five-on-five in the postseason. "Our power play has to get going,'' Trotz said. "If we're going to have any success, we need to have power-play success. People that are on the power play have to start producing.'' Depth of talent The Predators have a limited number of players up front who can be expected to score on a consistent basis, and the likely absence of David Legwand doesn't help matters. Third- and fourth-line players have scored some big goals down the stretch, but how much will these guys be able to produce during the playoffs? "I think you look around at the teams that have gotten (to the playoffs), and some teams have grit and some have talent,'' Arnott said. "Most teams have a great mixture.I think we definitely have more grit than talent. Hopefully that bodes in our favor and we'll grind it out a little bit.'' http://www.tennessean.com/apps/pbcs.dll/ar.../804070336/1028

Ozzie is playing against Columbus. Dom is playing against Chicago on sunday or whenever it is, Babs already said so. Edit: Nevermind that. I figured Oz would still get his last start of the season, but apparently not.

Someone has got to throw one together poking fun at Tootoo. And Pronger for that matter.
