Tucker's running away with the votes! Hey, the words 'Tucker' & 'run' in the same sentence? Coincidence? I think not! Anyways, I dig everyone's points on this. I'm just finding it real hard to listen to all this crap about Avery, yet we're talking about Darcy Tucker as well. He never met a guy he didn't wanna cheapshot or blindside. It's his game. As for Avery & those cancer remarks - who knows? I also heard a relative of his had been diagnosed with cancer too, so it does baffle me as to why he would say anything that stupid. Either way, none of that takes away from the fact Tucker is the very same type of player Avery is. Yet the radios & sites are bashing only Avery. It ain't like Tucker hasn't picked on guys who don't wanna go with him - non-fighters. Last season that guy from Ottawa Tucker jumped & started pounding and on ... Then after another game you see Tucker making comments about "i'm not about to jump into a fight with a guy who can beat me"? Pathetic. Just another reason to hate the Leafs, their media & fans!! Darcy Tucker. ASSETS: None really. FLAWS: Cheapshots guys. Runs people. Cowards when challenged. Will not fight anyone who actually drops the gloves. Only fights guys who haven't fought since junior. Topic starter said it was Dom's first "bad" game in a long time, yet why was this thread created then? Sorry, but this is so silly. Dom is our guy, and will be come playoff time. Unless something happens that would only be called DRASTIC and he somehow falters this season, then we can talk.

None taken. I don't mind posting this each game, if Aflac can't do it. After all, his GDT are done so well. I would've loved to win that elusive #10, but there's no reason we can't start another streak tonight. It is the Blues after all. Wings 5-1.

I'm one fan who thinks Tomas could play a bit of a larger role here. I dig the fight the other night, but what I'd really like to see is him start scoring some. Last season after the collarbone injury he didn't look much the same when he came back, but let's hope he's back on track now, this season. More goals dammit!!

Thanks. I do a GDT on a few other sites. And I took out a few things from those GDT's that wouldn't display properly in here, so it does look a little bare. AND I also just realized ... the Wings ... umm, if they ... ummm let's say, in the unlikely event they ... lose .... who isn't gonna blame the backup thread? If anything funny happens in this game tonight, we really just need to blame Aflac for disappearing?? 62-13-7? Unlikely. Although the Sens are on fire right now, just like our Red Wings !!!!!! it's likely both teams will fall back a little bit. It's truely hard to maintain this kind of pace for a full season. The Wings did do it before of course, so anything is possible. I guess if it's going to happen the Sens would be the team to do it. I think our record IS safe though.

Why is no-one talking about this? That was the most hilarious .. yet PATHTEIC thing I have ever seen in any game, any league, anywhere, ever! He skated for his life and dived into the bench like a friggin' baby. What a chump. Someone slap whoever keeps yelling "You can do it!!".

This game should be the best of the Western road trip. Although the Wings are clearly "the" class of the NHL, we all know things don't always go the way they should out West. GO WINGS!!
