All these players are playing for entry-level contracts given their ages. Unless they pull a Tatar type of performance in training camp, any of these guys that are signed will go back to juniors. Detroit is right up against the 50 man limit, and players playing in juniors do not count against this limit. Though I am not sure about Archibald and Johnston, as they are 20, but I would think they still have a year of eligibility left in juniors and would be sent there instead of the minors. I don't know much about any of these players, except Johnston. I hope he does well as it seems he has a good work ethic and would fight into the Wings system of a 3rd/4th liner, but has been unlucky in the injury department.
