Just an FYI, it's pretty damn hard to delete IE in any version of Windows. You probably didn't actually delete it. Just open Windows Explorer to My Computer or something and paste the address into the address bar. Hit enter and you're back on Internet Explorer.

Man you people are hilariously fickle. The cry for years has been to let the youngsters play, and now that we have a chance, you balk at the prospect of prospects. They have to develop somewhere other than the AHL, you know. And if the past successes of our organization in scouting is any guide, we will have some strides forward this year in our crop of fresh faces.

Kozlov will want too much money. Expect to see Fedotenko in a Wings uniform if we're believing what Kenny says, he says he won't pay much for a forward at this time, "the big money signings are done". Fedotenko can be had for 1-2m, whereas Kozlov will want 3-4m. So we'll probably not see Kozlov or Markov. And likely we won't see any more defense. If we're LUCKY we'll see Hasek and a forward (Fedotenko).

Edmonton is fishing for the first pick in next years draft, it seems. Great work, Lowe!

Would be great to see Fedotenko here. He's a pretty good playoff performer, and he's still pretty young. Kozlov would also be nice.

This is a pretty good deal. I will be happy with Bert at that cost as well if he doesn't flop. I will be sad to see Schneider go, but we absolutely HAVE to start letting kids have icetime. EVERY time we do it it turns out well (Lebda, Kronwall, Zetterberg/Datsyuk, Filpulla, Franzen, etc etc), and we can't wait too long or we'll start losing them. So give Kindl some time, or maybe Quincey. As a closing comment here, I would sell the goddamned farm to get Drury on this team because god damn his name may as well be Chris "ALL CLUTCH ALL THE TIME" Drury.

Cicarelli isn't getting in anytime soon because of off the ice issues. 1. Messier 2. Larionov 3. Stevens 4. MacInnis Larionov damn well better be getting in, he paved the way for Russian players in America, had amazing vision and passing ability, and as was previously said, was a huge member of a lot of the Russian national teams.

That's not a good thing guys, although I already paid for NHL Center Ice in full, I lost my job and can't afford to pay my Satellite bill. No playoffs for me. =(

What stations will the Wings games be aired on, primarily? My satellite is out, so I'm going to have to watch what I can on other peoples cable and satellite without NHL Center Ice, in the south. Will a lot of them be on Versus? NBC?

Goddamn I hope FSN doesn't have the first two rounds. That'd mean I won't see any Wings games this playoff year. :iceburn:

Any of you Wings fans out there? I'm in Columbus GA without any money for Center Ice (or even a car to go to Atlanta), and I'm getting pretty desperate for hockey friends. It's even harder because the local NBC affiliate shows 700 Club episodes when there's supposed to be nationally syndicated hockey on. Just wondering if the southern Wings fan exists. I haven't been able to find ANYONE.

The Wings are pretty popular in Florida, I knew that already because my mom is a Wings fan, and she's lived in Florida on and off for a long time. Now I just need to find people in the wonderful Columbus GA area.

We'll see. It wasn't Fedotenko and Lapointe, but it may work out well. Certainly wasn't a bad price to pay.

Man who gives a damn how he played last night. He's been terrible enough to make up for any upsides the rest of the year. He's a slower Boyd Devereaux that can score more than one out of a hundred tries, hooray. Meanwhile, he's stealing ice time from people like Filpulla and Hudler, who not only can score, but actually want to, and will only get better.

If you think Williams deserves to be in the lineup over Kopecky, then no one needs to prove a point to you. Hey, I hear Devereaux might be available :D

He's gathering RUMORS and presenting them. He gets them from dozens of sources. In a typical year, I'm sure GM's entertain hundreds of possible moves, and discuss all of them - it's the logical way to ensure you get what you need, and get a damn fine deal out of it as well. Eklund isn't "THESE ARE THINGS THAT WILL HAPPEN", Eklund is "THESE ARE THINGS THAT MIGHT HAPPEN OR HAVE BEEN DISCUSSED BY CLUBS". So agree with the idea, disagree, whatever, but I see no reason to question Eklund, he's not the guy making these calls, he's just an intermediate.
