You didn't give me anything to rebuttal other than you had some smart ass comment. The second goal was a result of that whole line. Not just Hossa and Datysuk. I guess I'm wrong for thinking a goal involving excellent passing between everyone on the ice is better than just Hossa and Datsyuk??? Especially in terms of "meshing." Like you said though, it's all personal interpretation. So you think a goal involving a whole line isn't as important as just two people. Hey, that's your prerogative.
-
Awwww, only way you can argue with that is being a smart ass? That sucks. Carry on, my friend.
-
I can hear the tandem talk starting...not that I would argue.
-
It involved the whole first line did it not? *edit* Now give me some long, drawn out explanation why that doesn't matter
-
Pasha = Dats
-
So did everyone else hear Ken Daniels say...."those are some hot nuts"
-
Tell that to the rest of the team too. At least that goal showed there are signs of things to come.
-
I hate to break the news to you, but the PP kinda plays a big role in the NHL and the Red Wings. Regardless whether it's a PK goal, PP goal or even strength goal they need all the time they can get to "mesh" *edit* And here comes the have Flip center Hossa...
-
So they don't need to "mesh" during the PP?
-
I refuse to believe any line involving Sammy is the best one lol No, so long as Sammy doesn't stay at the point, which he will though, he's looked pretty damn good being as he is Sammy.
-
Did you miss the powerplay goal... It's the best line they have right now
-
Yep. I bought pea soup even though I am conscientiously aware that I am deadly allergic to peas. It was chicken and dumplings soup.
-
That's not even fair. The cameraman couldn't even keep up with the pass lol
-
While I agree, because being able to watch Hossa on a daily basis you really get to see how freaking fast he is, they were killing a penalty so the last thing that needs to happen is taking himself out of the PK by trying to do something fancy and just not getting the puck deep in the zone.
-
I'm fine, thanks. Gonna take more than peas to take me down. I mean, look at the beard I can grow. Peas?!?!?! F&^# peas. And it was Campbells. Trader Joe's soups wouldn't have let me down.
-
I feel if I look at a soup can and there are no peas in the picture there shouldn't be any peas in the soup. So when I put some of the delicious soup in my mouth and swallow it I shouldn't have to run for my EpiPen. I should sue.
-
It only takes me a couple days to grow that beast of a beard I call all that is man....................................................
-
But after Nov. 8th lol

Do you like cold weather? If the answer is no then it's an obvious yes, go to Arizona

I'm French-Canadian asssshoollleeeee

It's not that we are doing that so much as saying Hossa needs a play maker to be centering him. We all know Flip's potential, and if he turns out to be the player management and all of us believe he's going to be as much as a steal as Z is right now at his salary. *edit* And if it turns out to be that way, God bless Kenny Holland. Add another player that was brainwashed to be a Detroit Red Wing. They got some type of kool-aid going, we just gotta figure out what's in it

Osgood looks rusty, never seen the team turn the puck over as much as they have, they look like they aren't interested, they turn the puck over more than they ever have, they turn the puck over more than they ever have. They turn the puck over more than they ever have. They turn the puck over more than ever they ever have. They aren't controlling the puck. Shall I keep going for you? Well, apparently you haven't been reading this whole thread. Because if you had you would have seen, among the many other times, that I have said Flip is potentially a 65-70 point guy and a top 2 line center. BUT, as of right now, he isn't anywhere near that. RIGHT NOW he isn't a good enough CENTER to be dishing Hossa the puck. His offensive awareness isn't developed enough nor is his passing skill. He is a perfect third line center. Perfect defensive center for this team. Don't know how many times I have to say it. People have been pretty much reiterating what I have been saying for the past couple days and about the last 2 pages in this thread and they tend to agree with each other, yet people dismiss mine. Either I'm a jackass or people only pick what they want to from my posts and try to argue. Either way, the people that share my viewpoint are among the more respected of all the posters. That's all that matters. *edit* I forgot a period *edit* Funny the guy with the Flip sig says that.............................
-
Hudler. He has way more offensive awareness than Flip. You don't stick defensive centers with someone like Hossa. I don't dislike Flip at all, read any other thread I talk about him in. He has the potential to be a top 2 line guy and a 60-70 point guy. But the fact of the matter is he isn't anywhere near that this year. He is an excellent defensive forward that you don't have to worry about coughing up the puck, he's solid. He IS, he IS a perfect third line center on this team. There is a reason why Babcock quickly pulled that line off the ice. If he wanted to give them a chance he would have left them out more than 15 seconds.
-
I don't give a s*** about comparing Flip to centers in Atlanta. That means ABSOLUTELY nothing. Are those centers on this team now? I'll give you a minute. No. You have Datsyuk, Hudler and Flip. You can even throw Hank in there too. Flip is the last option.
-
Actually yea, look at what I just said. So should I lump you into the Flip is going to have 70 points this season and he is a superstar because of his playoff goal group too or?
