All the hype about the Tigers annnndddd their season is done. Well not done but it ain't lookin' to good. They are 6 games back but Minnesota and Chicago came back two years ago when Detroit was running away with the division. Oh well, loyal fan here, I'll keep watching every game I can.

Osgood has continually made brilliant saves and instills the confidence that the Wings needed. Dare I say something a certain other goalie couldn't do, sorry, couldn't resist As for MVP. Osgood is a gear in the train that can't be stopped that is the Detroit Red Wings. There are quite a few players that can make a serious case for MVP. Ultimately the game is decided by a goalie. So Osgood should be the front runner.

Yep. Contrary to what the media wants you to think, Osgood has been the best goaltender in the playoffs since the first game he started.

I think we have heard the Ozzie chant more times during this 8 game stretch than we have all season, it's at least once per period. Rightfully so as he has done everything he's been asked to do.

If this is indeed true (as others have said it looked like he got hit in the chest) I can see that. As a goalie I can say that the chest protector has no protection for the [side] ribcage, and a two-hander to it would hurt quite a bit. But seeing as he slashed Oz over the top of the net I am finding it hard to believe he hit him in the ribs. I only saw it once so I could be wrong.

I would like to ask a question, and get a honest answer. Why does everyone care that Versus hates the Wings? If you only want to read feel good Red Wings stories read the freep or detnews. The f does it matter what Versus thinks.

If by series you mean a split in Dallas and a game 5 win at the Joe. It must hurt Turco SO much knowing that the Wings own him in Detroit.

Dunno how many times it has to be said...Having Howard sit in GRap for another year will not do anyone good. It's about time to p*ss or get off the pot with Howard, in a brief stint he showed he has the potential to be a solid goaltender for Detroit.

I would say a 7-0 record, 1.45 gaa and a .939 sv% would suit the majority. Eva, you might know, has any goalie had a perfect record in the playoffs?

If he is more worried about nightlife than winning hockey games (Detroit would be the clear, obvious choice) then I am glad he didn't choose Detroit.

The SCS cops are nothing but meter maids with a badge, gun and a false sense of power. Of course they write me a ticket 10 minutes before I leave for parking 3-5 am. If I don't get this torn up I won't be happy.

I guess all the whining and pissing Inge did paid off eh? I'm joking. He's played pretty well, but it was just a matter of time before he got back to his .230 average. I won't complain about his 14 rbi's though.
