I don't know why people are still arguing that Hossa should not come to Detroit...and that Hossa would be a rental player. I would guess roughly half this thread is explaining that Hossa would not be a rental player.

For the most part I saw his rebounds go into the corner, where they should be going, but the other times they are sitting there ripe for the picking.

He must retire next year, has to. Howard will do nobody any good by sitting in GRap for another year next year. I hope Howard and Osgood tandem next year. I can see Ozzie being a good mentor.

That may be the case but everyone is guilty of harassing the goalie at some point, no excuses. Howard can probably care less about them razzing him; over the last two weeks he has proved that he can, without a doubt, backstop this team.

Hossa is 29, he can be the future when he is locked up for 4-5 years. And it's a better future than what Flip puts on the table.
