Yea, he has virtually no pressure here, I'm not sure if he is already slated in the rotation, I'm guessing 5th. Hopefully he can thrive on that. CoPa is a tough ballpark to hit in but with Cabrera's power I don't foresee it being that big of a problem. I agree the bullpen is shaky, and streaky. Miner, for the most part and if I remember correctly, pitched pretty well last year coming out of the pen but you don't know what to expect with FRod and Jones. If they both pitch like they should that's a devastating 1-2 punch in the 8th and 9th. FRod's breaking ball is NASTY (I miss you Rod) when he has it going. March 31st can not come soon enough.

Like it or not? That doesn't even make any sense, he's not playing. What is he thinking? He knows he is going to be the playoff starter. He sees how poorly the team is playing. He's probably thinking he's going to ride the bench untill they play better. He's been around the block a few times, he's a smart man.

And I'm sure you are assuming he would stop everything. What I am assuming isn't an assumption. NO goalie can help the Wings right now. The way they are playing defense and not scoring and just not playing period you can throw any goalie out there and they are going to look bad. How can you not be happy that Hasek is sitting on the bench right now? Osgood is getting ripped on left and right while Hasek is sitting on the bench looking like the greatest thing since sliced bread and the savior of this team all while not having to go out there and play with the sorry excuse of a team called the Wings right now. It's a win-win for the Hasek fanboys. Get over yourself and Hasek, I've never seen so many people come out of the woodwork just to rip on Ozzie. I said it in another thread; nobody in their right mind can blame Ozzie, or if Hasek was in net, on these loses. And Hossa and Feds. Then all will be well.

I feel people need to get over this. It was a horrible call, no doubt. But be glad it was made in a game now and not in the playoffs. That game will not have any bearing on where the Wings will ultimately finish in the standings.
