    Post Everytime You Look

Yesterday we were outside playing beer pong and all of a sudden we hear this little girl scream across the street...totally thought it was pearl. We didn't get off of that subject for a while.

2006 World Series: Tigers & Cardinals

Sweep. Nobody can stop them. I take that back, Tigers will lose 2 on purpose just so they can win it here. This is not meant to be humorous. This is a fact.

According to Drew and Mike from the other day it isn't like last year's world series.

    2006 ALCS: Tigers vs. A's

That really doesn't matter, it's not like they are banking on a pitcher to hit a clutch double. Pitchers are automatic outs which is why you will see pitchers just sit there and take every pitch untill they strike out. This is the World Series, no messing around. I know the rotation has been working BUT this is the World Series. At this point and time pitching Kenny and Bondo is an automatic win the way they are pitching. If Kenny pitches game 1 and 4 that gives him enough time to rest if there is a game 7. Also, MLB decides who throws out the first pitch (I think) and who sings the national anthem...I know they pick who sings the national anthem. Look for some stupid ass American Idol winner or something stupid like that.

    Detroit Pistons Season Thread

Ernie Harwell was traded to some team for a minor league player. I did not know that Mason is no longer with the Pistons, I've been watching the game too. I guess his gig would be up with whatever radio station (I think 105.9) he was on in the morning here as well. BUT, BUT this does confirm that Cleveland wants to be JUST like Detroit. First they stole Cleve-land bas-ket-ball along with whatever else (I forgot) and now they steal Mason.

    2006 ALCS: Tigers vs. A's

Listening to Drew and Mike this morning and they were talking to Eckersley. If you didn't know he predicted sweep for this series and predicts another one if they go with this rotation: Game 1: Kenny Game 2: Bondo Game 3: Verlander Game 4: Kenny And I agree, the series will be a sweep if the skipper goes with that rotation. Mets and Cardinals only have one dominate pitcher each. They are going to eat up whoever they play.

It's not that much of a downgrade. The new NBA is focused on offense, you can't TOUCH Wade or Lebron or Kobe or any superstar. Nazr is still a pretty good defender but he brings the offensive side of the game to the table that Wallace didn't. I think Vegas or someone has the Pistons and Cavaliers tied at 49.5 games this season and the Heat at 50.5. I can't wait untill the Heat start losing so we can hear the new ball excuse from Shaq. As if he is THE ONLY one affected by the new ball.

If there's one team I cannot stand.....

I find stepping on peoples legs and backs with METAL CLEATS to be worse than swinging a helmet. Not that swinging a helmet is not wrong.

    2006 ALDS: Tigers vs Yankees

Leyland was at Fishbones last night. He told the managers to let the fans talk to him because it was as much their win as it was his.

    2006 ALDS: Tigers vs Yankees

"The story of the ALDS figures to be more about the Yankees' collapse over the last three games and the struggles of Alex Rodriguez" espn.com I love the excuses that keep pouring in for the Yankees. I mean let's totally forget that the Tigers were 40 games above .500 at one point and was in first place for how many consecutive weeks? Whatever, keep making excuses for them, when the Tigers win the WS and return to the playoffs next year and the Yankees fail to make it we will see how all these "analysts" spew out of their mouth.

    2006 ALDS: Tigers vs Yankees

The announcers could not be on the Yankee's crotchal area any more. I mean why don't they just head down to the Yankee's dugout and call the game from there? I don't know why I am so surprised with a Detroit team not getting any respect but...

    Post Everytime You Look

Yea, was thinking about going downtown tomorrow for the game but even that may be too close. Not able to go anyways so, to the game that is. We were both at one of the games. I think the one I saw was when Jones unraveledl which was when they went on the 15 game winning streak and the one game that they lost I was at. Could have been a different one. That is why I CRINGE everytime I see him take the mound in the 9th, especially vs. the Yankees in October

Someone just messaged me via myspace that she got tickets and I'm guessing I could possibly go, waiting to hear back. There is one for you. Tigers playoff game or Cedar Point. It is Cedar Point. Cedar Point trumps everything in my book but Tigers in October... Keep in mind that I have been to two handfuls of games this season and they have lost everyone......
