Hey, that glow puck helped get me into hockey. I was born in Michigan, but I grew up in Florida. In the mid 90's the Pistons weren't doing good and I seen something on ESPN about the Wings going to the finals. They got swept that year, which I didn't watch, but I started following them a little bit the following year. The glow puck and the robots on Fox really got me interested. I've been a die hard fan ever since. Finding the Wings was the best thing, sports wise, that ever happened. I grew up on footall and basketball, and hockey, although I've never played it, is by far the best sport on earth. Being a long time Lions fan, it's really nice to have one team that does things the right way. Anyways, just saying, the glow puck thing ain't all bad.

Dude, you live in Palm Beach? Lucky!! I'm pretty much a Floridian, my family moved down here from Farmington when I was 3, but I'm a die hard Wings fan. The Lightning are also my second favorite team, a very distant second.

I don't know how long the offer is for. The Tampa game is November 13, a thursday, the day before the Panthers game.

I'll be paying for my tickets tomorrow. The rep said there were over 60 of us LGW'ers going to the game. I can't wait for them back to back games in the Sunshine State. Hopefully it will be cold that weekend, makes me get more into the hockey spirit. By cold I mean lows in the 40's, it doesn't get much colder than that. Edit: I don't know how I put the "60 of us" part in bold but it wasn't intentional, lol.

I'm looking forward to the Wings coming back to Florida for 2 Regular Season games. I've seen them in the pre-season down here the last couple of years, but it's nothing like the reg season. I will be going to Tampa Nov 13 and then driving down to Sunrise to see them play the Panthers the next night. Should be a good time and I look forward to meeting the members from this board that are going to the Panther game. Also the Winter Classic will be awesome, especially because it doesn't look like Michigan will be playing that day this year. :violin:

I'm in for at least 2 tickets, 3 if my girlfriend wants to go. I go every time they come to Panther and Lightning games, both good arenas. Panthers actually play in Sunrise, not swampy at all, lol. The arena is kind of in the middle of no where though, not really close to Miami. The best place to go down there is West Palm Beach, freaking awesome. Crystal clear, blue water and a great night life. Better than Miami, imo and they are both about the same distance from Sunrise, about 40 miles. Just a thought.

It will be my first game w/ DirectTV and NHL Network HD!! Can't wait. I'm also getting FSN Detroit so I can watch pre and post games now.
