I wonder if Hossa or Mule would sign a 1 year deal and then cash in the following year when Lidstrom retires or gets a lower cap hit? It's hard to imagine Hoss doing it two years in a row, but maybe. Maybe Franzen would be willing to do it to stay with the Wings.

Well Espn has them 2nd behing the Devils. That would be a great finals series, Wings vs Devils.

Agreed. 90% of the teams that lose to the blues would be considered chokers. They aren't terrible, but not far from it either. One of the reasons a team like that can get on a roll is how bad they have been all year and teams take them lightly.

As good as both teams are I don't see us meeting in the WCF. I think one of us will get beat by a lower seed in the 1st or 2nd round. Hopefully it will be the Sharks that fall in the 2nd round like usual, lol. I'm not afraid to play the Sharks, but the travel is a *****. Chigago, Columbus and Minnesota sound alot better to me.

I was hoping to keep Hossa instead. His back has always worried me and the day before he signs he hurts it again. Get better soon Hank, looks like you'll be a Wing for awhile. Edit: Babs seemed concerened about Z and his history w/ his back in the PG interview.

Holland didn't seem to convinced the he would get Hank signed. Maybe he is thinking what I am thinking, Hossa and Mule for the win. To me it's not between Mule and Hossa, it's between Z and Hossa. The Mule is a must.

Well I was watching with my mom and my uncle (huge Wings fans) and we all were thinking what Mindfly was, so he/she wasn't the only one expecting the worse. Luckily it seems to have been alot less serious.

I'm with you on this one. Hossa is just too good to let go. I wish we could keep both, but Hossa > Zetts.

I'd keep Hossa and Mule. Zetterbergs back scares me. Even if he didn't have back issues, it would be a tough call.
